Endless quickly jump back to try and avoid the attack, but as Lightning Empress charge is almost at its limit, the whole place is now enveloped with blinding light from the attack.
Lightning Empress is ready to unleash the attack, but she saw someone in her peripheral vision, something that resembles as a person; she knew for herself that Endless can move on that location, so with her full strength, she twists her body sideways ready to clash head-on.
”I knew you will do something like this!” Lightning Empress shouted.
But after facing Endless her expression changed, she didn't see a man with a feeling of shock or fear, but a man who is smiling, right at that moment she knew that whatever Endless is planning had succeeded.
An attack suddenly startled Lightning Empress, the attack directly hits her right arm that affects the aim of [The Gods Judgement] Skill, scattering the arrows all over the place, two of the arrows caught between the two sending Endless and Lightning Empress flying in the opposite direction.
The whole place is covered with dust and debris, Endless stood up and saw Lightning Empress walking towards him, holding his right hand.
As the dust settled, Endless saw clearly why Lightning Empress is not attacking.
”Y...Your arm”
I was surprised too, I never thought that the system will have an effect like this.
Lightning Empress's arm was cut off by the attack.
”An archer that lost an arm is as good as dead, and to top it all out, the system gave me a bleeding debuff that eats my remaining HP.”
”The game is changing little by little, and this event is created for the purpose of testing it all.”
Lightning Empress leaned towards the wall and fell sitting down.
”How did you do it? You can't even use skills, and you manage to defeat me. How did you do it?”
Zidyn then walked near Endless.
”This is Zidyn, my Guardian. Before you complete your attack I summoned him, I ordered him to extend his weapon so he can throw me straight near you, those debuffs really took a toll on my movements, and I figured you suffer on the same debuffs too”.
”How did you know that I suffer the same debuffs?”
”I just figured it out because you used so many buffs before fighting, so I tested your first attack, I blocked some of it and noticed the damage is not that severe, so I gambled”
”Y...You gambled? what if you're wrong?”
”If I'm wrong?, then I'll just have to think another way to defeat you.”
Lightning Empress then laughed out loud.
”I'm happy that I fought you, It's my loss, but I'll make sure to win next time.”
Lightning Empress HP reached 0 and disappeared with a smile on her face.
”Master? are you ok? do you want me to use [Blood Transfusion] ?”
”No need to worry, I didn't sustain that much damage in the first place.”
”But Master”
”Just be ready, the black vortex is starting to vanish, we may face a hoard of enemies waiting for us outside.”
”I can hear a battle happening in the distance.”
Endless saw a silhouette in the distance and dashed toward it, he leaped to attack and was surprised to see Shadow Fox.
”Woah!, easy there, bud.”
Shadow Fox blocked the attack, suddenly a scythe appeared in the mist heading straight to Shadow Fox's neck.
”Zidyn! Stop!”
The scythe stops near Shadow Fox's neck.
