24 Death Is Coming (1/2)

Jun's body was changing at a rapid speed but even so the meridian points are harder to heal. Each meridian point requires at least 10 minutes to reforge. At this rate it would take a whole day for him to reforge all 108 meridian points.

”If forging it one at a time takes so long I'll do two at a time!” Jun roars mentally as his mind split into two. It is like drawing a circle with his right and drawing a square with his left right now. If it took 10 minutes per point now it took 15 minutes per point but he is doing two simultaneously therefore he saved 33 percent worth of time.

Ziyu took Xintong and ran as fast as he could with her on his back. He popped a healing pill into her mouth to help her recuperate faster. They all split up in order to give themselves a better chance at survival. 

”San Ti how are you doing?” Ziyu asks into his com.

”Running as fast as I can, but I don't think I made it that far. There's way too many wild beasts here.”

”Get her out of here as fast as possible. Xintong, and everyone else are injured. They will probable come for you first.”

”Got it,” San Ti answers back and quickly sped up.

The people around Yuan Chai began waking up. The first was the young master since he had the second highest cultivation on the team after that were the king's realm.

”What the hell happened?” the young master asks groggily still slightly affected by the gas.

”We have been attacked. That girl has been taken.”

”Whose that?”

”That is Bu Fan number 47 on the heaven's list,” Chai answers with a chuckle. ”I'll hold him down. You guys go and chase them all down. Slaughter them all.”

”Useless trash wake the hell up. You, you, and you take a team and chase them down. I'll go get the Myriad eye girl,” the young master said sinisterly.

”Yes young master Ye!” they answered in union and disappeared into the woods.

Then Ye took out a compass like object. On the screen were a whole bunch of dots. He imbued his qi into the compass and the dots began to change colors. Red stood for wild beast. The deeper the red color the stronger the beast. Blue stood for allies and the white dots stood for their prey.

He then telepathically sent the king realm cultivators a mental map of the compass.

Yuan Chai looked at the calmly sitting Bu Fan. ”This is the omni compass found in an ancient ruin. It has the ability to detect all living beings within a radius of a thousand mile. Your minions cannot escape.”

Bu Fan shrugs inside the prison. ”Who knows. The heavens might take pity of them.”

”Elder Chai keep him occupied. I'll hunt down that girl.”

From the time of the palace trapped them till now only about 15 to 20 minutes had passed.

Xintong and her gang are like rats inside a maze while being watched by cats from above. An hour passed by and Hui was captured.

Another 30 minutes went by and Mei was captured.

”Yo Kong Di your a bit slow aren't you,” one of the King realm cultivator teases.

”This little girl was a bit wily. Almost lured us into a hornets nest. If not for Young Master's map we would have been goners,” Kong Di admitted. Even now he felt sweat crawling down his neck.

They brought them back to where Yuan Chai was.

”Once I capture them all I'll slowly kill them in front of you,” Chai smiled.

Boom! The prison shook intensely but was calmed down the next second.

Another hour passed by and Ziyu along with Xintong was captured. Ziyu was bloody red. Bruises, open wounds, and blood could be seen every where on him. As for his capturer it seemed like they were playing with him. There was too big of a level difference for Ziyu to make up with techniques and skill alone. Not only that but he was internally injured, and had to carry Xintong with him.

San Ti who had a much larger had start was able to escape for a lot longer than everyone else. It took Ye an extra 2 hours to capture him. San Ti was also brought back bruised up and on the verge of collapse.

Ximei who was wide awake now was frighten beyond compare.

In the time that passed till now Jun has only been able to heal about 40 meridian points. There were still at least 68 more to go.

”If you don't hurry it up you won't be able to make it,” Ancestor Long's voice echoed in his mind.
