18 Demon Hill Valley (1/2)
”A group of One Sun Sect disciples came by two days ago and took my sister with them. I don't know how they found out, but they somehow knew that my sister possess the Myriad eyes.”
”Myriad eyes? Whats that?” Xintong asks.
Jun was also a little curious too since eye technique and bloodlines were extremely rare in this world. Those who possess it usually possess greater combat abilities than those who don't.
”My Ning family goes back a hundred thousand years and we received our bloodline from our ancestor Ning Yin. He possessed the myriad eyes too and it is one of our greatest secrets. I am only telling you this because someone must have leaked the secrets already and if I you don't tell you now then you will be going in blind.”
”Whats so special about those eyes?” Jun asks.
”Right now my sister has reached the beginning stages of the Myriad eye art so she is able to see the natural world's qi flow. Once she reaches the intermediate stages then she will be able to see the world on a 4th dimensional level. If she fully masters it then she is able to manipulate the fourth dimension which is space and time. This eye art is extremely strong. It took her 5 years to just master the first stage so for her to reach the final stages will still take hundreds if not thousands of years.”
Thats a little too overpowered isn't it? Jun wonders to himself.
”Wow! I am so happy for your family. We will definitely go rescue her!”Xintong exclaims happily.
”While it is a blessing it is also a curse, if the main family finds out about this. My father was cast out because he was deemed to not possess this bloodline. Now that my sister has somehow inherited it. It will cause nothing but trouble once others find out.” Jimei explains.
”I'm sure that Ximei doesn't want to cause trouble for the family.”
”I'm not blaming her but we were doing just fine before.”
”Lets get back on track. Do you know where she went? Jun asks.
”Yes they went to Demon Hill Valley.”
”Demon Hill Valley!” Jun bursts out accidentally.
”The beasts there are at a minimum of master and king's realm. Are they suicidal?” Xintong said.
”That is why they took Ximei because with her eyes they can go through a path with no spirit beasts around. But their main purpose is that the treasure is so hidden without her it is basically impossible to find.”
”What cultivation were those people at?” Jun asks.
”Most are in the master realm, with three to five in king's realm. I think one might be in Heaven but I am not sure.”
Jun looks at Xintong and saw that even she felt a little frighten by it. The group's cultivation were not that high. Even Ziyu their strongest fighter was only at Master Realm pinnacle. Even if he could fight 2 stages above himself at the end the day the Heaven's realm expert would completely crush them like they are insects. This isn't some backwater country where a little bit of ability would become God defying. This is a modern country with science. Even the commoners can fight a stage or two above themselves if they traveled back one thousand years. This is the power of internet.
”Lets give it a try. If we can't rescue her we will come back but if we can we will risk it.”
”How are you going to compete with the Heaven's realm cultivator? In the heaven's realm they develop the omni sense, or spirit sense up to a distance of one hundred meters. There's no way we can get close enough to even assess the situation,” Jun point out bluntly.
”Don't worry I have a plan in mind already. Jun I'm sorry but this time you won't be able to come. With your cultivation sealed I am afraid you will die.” She said gravely.
”I know. I have some friends that might be able to help you. They are in the kings realm.” Jun said helplessly. He knows that without his cultivation he will just be holding them back. He even felt helpless and desired his cultivation back.
”I don't wanna risk it. Its already dangerous enough.”
”If you don't let me do this then I definitely follow you,” Jun threatens.
Xintong felt that Jun said it out of good will and felt a warm inside. ”Okay then.”
”Are you guys sure?” Jimei asks worriedly.
”Yes it is. This is the least I can do, now that I am part of the sect. Do you have a way to track her down? Demon hill valley is pretty big.”
”Yes we do actually,” Jimei said suddenly as she withdrew her cellphone.
”There's no signal in the valley…” Jun said.
”I know but I changed the hardwares, and installed a couple things myself. This cellphone can track people's qi.”
”Thats brilliant!” Jun whisper shouted.
”Eh not really it was pretty simple. I discovered that we all emit some kind of waves and just used that method to do it. Our spiritual imprint actually doesn't leave for a week so that helps. You can even follow their path with this.”
After they talk it over some more Jun and Xintong finally left. Xintong immediately calls up her group.
”I'll go call my friends,” Jun said to Xintong and parted ways with her.
