128 First Day (1/2)
The new guys who have no idea what is going on just stare at me and the old students. They have practically no idea what was going on with us. Even Ms. Suzuka is confused.
”Uh… care to fill me in on what was going on?” Ms. Suzuka asked.
One of the former classmates of mine who seems to be not so shocked by my arrival whispered to Ms. Suzuka. After that, she nodded in response after understanding what was currently happening.
”Oh, why you didn't say anything to me Kazuma that you are a former student in this school?”
”I don't really have to right? And besides, it will ruin the element of surprise.”
”Hmm, makes sense. Still, you need to introduce yourself again. There are other people who still have no idea who you are currently so it's best if you start over again.”
”Should I go back out to the door and come in again?”
”Oh, come on, just introduce yourself, why go to a hassle in doing that?”
I smiled at Ms. Suzuka's replies. I am just testing her if she is someone who doesn't tolerate student-friendly interactions or not because what my former homeroom teacher is the exact opposite of a student-friendly guy. Good thing she is somewhat good and she is not forceful.
I step back into the podium and bowed down, before introducing myself again. ”For those who know me, just don't listen, while for those who don't, good day, I am Kazuma Fukuyama. I am a former student in this school and several of my classmates here are my former classmates in the past. So for those who did not know me, nice to meet you all!”
The new people nodded their heads while the others were talking and whispering. While everyone is busy clapping, my eyes wandered into the very back and saw the bully who made my whole day broken. As soon as my eyes landed on him, he already brought out the ”I'll be watching you.” sign that he keeps on doing in the past. It might have worked on me in the past but today? Nah, petty tricks.
”So, about your seat, how about the seat next to the girl with black hair over the side of the window, on the fourth row?”
”Ma'am, there is someone sitting there already,” one student said.
”He or she is not currently seated so that seat is considered vacant. Let the owner of that seat know when he or she gets back.”
Ugh, seriously, are you joking or what? Because it is so lame. Anyways, I moved my feet and goes to my respective seat. My seatmate cast me with a strange look in her eyes and nodded like she was acknowledging my presence before she returned to her world… Oh well, I used to be like her in the past. I didn't disturb her because it didn't really matter much.
”Since everything is settled, let's get our lessons started.”
