Life As a Servant TheCrow 23390K 2022-07-20

”You have half a day to investigate the contents of this thing.”

Melissa left the villa for a few minutes and handed the syringe to the glass-wearing secretary, who stored the syringe in special plastic big before bowing to the blond-girl. He was secretary Park, Melissa's trusted confidant, and a loyal subordinate of hers. He was hired by her father but he took care of her ever since she was little and he's also the one who taught her how the world really functions. Basically, he's the only one she could really trust, more than her own parents and siblings. Her family's circumstances were special and the fight over the inheritance became much more intense ever since her father fell ill. She's not only young but also a woman so that lowers her chances, but, fortunately, she was much more capable than her brothers, moreover, she was the favored one by her father.

Secretary Park should have been busy with the familial matters but, recently, Melissa has been focusing on other things, which confused him, nonetheless, he obeyed every one of her orders and did things meticulously and thoroughly, never disappointing her.

After getting the syringe, secretary Park got into the car and left, leaving Melissa standing at the entrance of the Villa, a bit absent-minded. Only when Jasmine called for her did she snap back to reality and break into a smile, returning to her usual friendly attitude.

Thankfully, Scarlett didn't stay in Ann's laboratory that long and left after inviting her little sister to dinner. As for Bin, he quickly wore his servant clothes and left after he briefly talked to Ann, who was relieved that he wasn't discovered. In fact, her sister completely forgot that there was a patient and was so engrossed in Ann's health and situation. Anyway, Bin took a cab to return to his master's home, which took a bit less than an hour.

By the time he came back, the sun has already set and the sky was completely dark. The guards let him and the moment he stepped inside, there was a loud sound of slippers.

Literally seconds later, a black-haired girl stopped in front of Bin, her arms crossed and her face filled with displeasure.

”Where were you?”

Before replying, Bin made sure no one was nearby or could hear them before he sighed and nonchalantly said: ”Why do you want to know?”

”You're my servant all day long! What you and do not are for me to decide! Plus, didn't I tell you to stay with Rika?!”

Not only was Bin hungry, but he was also not in the mood to bicker with her as that's what they do every time they're together. He just shrugged his shoulders, uninterested in what she had to say before retorting:

”Again, I'm not going to work for you like a slave all day long. There are work hours and rest hours, and I did stay with your friend all day long. I only left a short time before your arrival.”

He took one step forward, stopping inches away from the fuming Jasmine, before clicking his tongue and saying: ”Don't try to dictate my life, gotcha?”

He lightly patted her shoulder before turning around and leaving. The girl stomped her foot and let out an angry, unfeminine growl before following behind him. The unaware Bin headed toward the dining room but he only took less than ten steps before a subtle magical force caused him to stumble and trip head-first into the ground.
