”…”

In response to his words, there was naught but an eerie silence. He slowly closed the door and remained motionless, glancing at the empty room. He didn't need confirmation, the way his body was reacting right now ascertained his former suspicions.

'There is definitely someone in the room.'

He closed his eyes and tried focusing. His body is sensitive to Mana and reacts negatively in its presence so whenever there is a source of Mana nearby, the minuscule pumps planted by Ann will accelerate. Ever since Magic became the norm on Earth, the whole planet became filled with Mana but, of course, there are places that have more concentration of Mana than other places, for example, the Magic academy.

Strong individuals who rely on Mana tend to affect their surroundings but the change is small and, most of the times, it's unnoticeable, even by the most-experienced magic-users.

In Bin's case, his body is like a meter, twisting and repulsing any change in Mana in the air, which is why he was able to sense the hidden presence. However, he wasn't able to precisely locate it and from the looks of it, whoever it was, they won't show themselves.

With his eyes closed, he reached to his pocket and held the new smartphone Jasmine recently got him. He spent twenty seconds with his eyes closed then casually took out his phone, seemingly about to use it but, out of the blue, he quickly threw it to the right, where he kind of suspected the invader to be. Alas, the phone smashed into the wall, though he was able to sense a subtle shift in Mana yet again, which made him dash toward the source, uncaring about the wall a few meters ahead.

His movements were to slow and the invisible figure managed to easily dodge him but she was still surprised that he managed to pinpoint her exact location. She was an expert in assassination and stealth and it's very rare for someone to sense her, much less attack so precisely. Whether it's the phone or Bin, both were not fast enough to be able to threaten her invisibility so the situation turned quite hilarious when Bin smashed into the wall, injuring his forehead. There was a red mark but it wasn't a severe wound, it'll heal soon enough so the servant wasn't worried.

Actually, he was more preoccupied with the hidden stalker.

”Who sent you?”

”…”

Yet again, the answer was absolute silence. Nevertheless, Bin didn't give up and decided to change his tactic.
