48 Chapter 48 : Operation (1/2)

Life As a Servant TheCrow 23540K 2022-07-20

Three bodies laid next to each with a big pool of blood under them. Bin struggled to get up and shakily searched the two burly and bloody bodies of the twins. At last, he found what he was looking for, an envelope filled with money bills and a check.

He was stabbed three times, however, the wound in his abdomen was exactly where the black spot appeared so not much blood gushed from that place but the ones in his back seemed pretty serious, perhaps even fatal.

He struggling to keep himself conscious and fight the pain so he didn't notice that his phone fell from his pocket and splashed into the blood under his feet. With slow and unsteady steps, he left the narrow alley, wanting to go to a hospital.

Sadly, the closest hospital is miles away and, even at such a desperate time, he refused to be treated by the doctors only for them to demand money in return so, with such an idiotic logic which favored money over his own life, He decided to head to Ann's private clinic.

He randomly picked a dirty and ragged sweater from the garbage bin and wore it to cover the blood and wounds then started 'walking'.

With such serious stab wounds and a lot of blood loss, anyone would succumb and fall unconscious yet through sheer will, Bin held on and tried his best to reach the clinic, which is pretty far.

It was 1 AM and the clinic was closed, not like there are any visitors or patients in the day though. Ann, who was drowsily looking through the compound Microscope only to hear a small banging sound. Her laboratory is usually empty and silent so to hear such a noise freaked the girl and made all the sleepiness go away.

She grabbed the closest sharp object and stared at the entrance door, thinking that some robbers sneaked in. Due to the remoteness of this building, she never bothered to lock the doors, after all, there is nothing here worth stealing unless the robbers were planning to take the advanced machines that weighed more than a ton.

Fortunately, what she was expecting never happened and instead of robbers, a youth opened the door and took one single step before falling headfirst on the floor.

The startled doctor ran up to him only to see a large amount of blood covering his body. His face was extremely pale and the stab wounds were very visible even after wearing that trashy sweater.

As a doctor, the first thing she thought of was treating Bin, who fell unconscious and was totally unresponsive to her calling. With much difficulty, she dragged him to the other room and immediately initiated the operation, feeling absolutely shocked by the poor state of his body.

”Let's hope we're the same blood type.”

Bin lost too much blood to survive and Ann didn't have any stored blood to help him. She activated 'Medical Eye' and soon discovered that they're, fortunately, the same blood type.

In this dire and critical situation, Ann wished for an assistant as she couldn't do two things at once. She quickly began the blood transfusion while trying to work on the stab wounds.

One of the two stab wounds on his back hit a vital spot and dug deep into his bones thus making it much harder to heal. When she was done with the two injuries, she shifted her attention to the abdomen, precisely in the area around the black spot.
