As soon as he left, they all took to their heels and ran for their dear lives.

'Please come. I cannot hold on any longer. Whatever happens, I hope you both would be alright.'

”Scree tchme teh...” Astrid bwgan murmuring some words, ready to rain hell down on the village.

At that moment, Clive was far gone in kissing her neck as she refused to let him kiss herBl that he failef to noticed the glowing blue light that had bwgining to form in her hands.

BANG!

The door slammed open with a loud noise due to the force Jareth used to kick at it and it fell down to the ground.

Immediately, both heads turned to the door to see who the intruder was.

Left for Clive, whoever it was that disturbed his enjoyment would be severely punished for disturbing him.

Meanwhile, Astrid's eyes finally fell open as she stared at the person that broke the door and walked in.

At that moment, she could not care less who it was that interrupted their boss, all she could think of was pleading with the person to help save her.

”You.” From the tone in Clive's voice, Astrid knew that her eyes were not deceiving her. ”What are you doing here?” Clive asked the person as he did not fail in showing hios irritation and surprise.

The next thing Astrid knew, he took a step inside the house, followed by another and then another till his face could be seen clearly.

She could see the blood rage in his eyes as they shone with red and green. Her heart felt elated at the sight and she could finally relax a bit.

'He came, he came, he came!' she began chanting the words in her mind as she looked at him. Till now Jareth had not looked at her, his eyes were still fixed on the face of the man both of them had come to despise.

After the loud bang that followed his entry, the entire room fell into silence with no one speaking but just watching the object of concern.

Finally, after what seemed to be years, Jareth's gaze darted to the side and they met with hers. With eyes locked on each other, Astrid could not help but let another stream of tears wash down over her face as his name fell off her lips.

”Jareth.”

Her soft voice was like a piercing needle to his heart. Her pain., her tears, it fwelt as though his heart was torn into a thousand shred.

He hated to see her cry and now, judging from her reddened eyes, someone actually dared to make her cry and a lot for that.

The tears continued to flow as she watched him, battle with himself. She knew he was about to go berserk and was probably trying to control himself lest he let her see such a scary sight.

Clive who had been watching the couple's silent conversation was beginning to boil with rage.

'Just how dare him interrupt me? Does he think he is invincible and cannot die? Since the beasts refused to kill him, I would kill him myself.'

”Elf boy, GET OUT!”

At his weird outburst, Astrid and Jareth turned their head to look at him. Was he mad? Couldn't he see he was already a dead meat? Did he need some kind of invitation to beg death to visit him too early?

”SHE IS MINE,” Clive said and intentionally peeled his gaze of Jareth and let them linger on Astrid's body, causing Jareth to follow the line of his sight and stop where his hand was.

He watched as Clive ran his hand over her exposed thigh in a slow rhythm, causing his blood to boil even more.

He was intentionally annoying him and Jareth knew he was working. In fact, he had gone way more than being annoyed.

Reluctantly, he peeled his gaze away and let his eyes land on her face for a split second before he let his rage take over.

Her irritation and disgust had overshadowed her face and her eyes began to change colours. ”And there is nothing, you can…”

BOOM!

Before Clive could finish his statement, Jareth let himself go and gave in to his rage.Withg the speed of light, he moved and gripped Clive by his shirt then gave him a heavy punc.

Everything was still a shock to Clive as at one moment he was saying something and the next…

Bang!

He found himself flying towards the wall and crashing on it. The impact on the wall had caused it to break and further thrown Clive outside the house.

All anyone could see with the naked eyes was the gush of wind that came from the incomprehensible speed Jareth used.

He turned to his side and saw Astrid curled up on her side on the bed with her hands still tingly with a blue light.

Quickly, he made his way to where she was and scooped her upper body up so she could look t him.

”I am sorry, so sorry, Astrid.” Jareth apologized to her as his hands moved up to take her hair from her face so he could look at her.

”Astrid. Astrid, please listen to me. Open your eyes.”
