34 Alchemy (1/2)

Outside of the cabin, a gentle breeze makes its way across the forest and the leaves shook in harmony. The only thing out of the ordinary with the scene was a young girl standing on a tree branch, peering down on the cabin's door.

That person was Yuan Qiang.

The person she had fallen in love with had married another woman right in front of her. The very thought of that made her grind her teeth in anger and frustration.

Yuan Qiang was currently standing on a thick branch, hundreds of meters in the air. The trunk that she was grasping with her right hand exploded in fine dust. In the blink of an eye, she was gone from where she was standing as if she was never there.

Jiang Chen was oblivious to his current predicament about Yuan Qiang. He had just told Fen Tang to rest early before he went into another room. As Jiang Chen was closing the door behind him, she had a face filled with disappointment.

Jiang Chen went into the other room and broke into a smile.

These days haven't been easy!

Streams of information poured into Jiang Chen's mind in a flash. Thunder god vine, yellow-spring flower, soul lotus, blood ginseng...

Even the current champion in refining pills couldn't hold a candle against the current Jiang Chen in terms of knowledge! Reciting with his eyes closed? Easy. Curing any type of illness? Piece of cake. Pill refining without a cauldron? Once I get a pill flame, no one can stand in my way!

The only problem that Jiang Chen currently is facing was the materials. Although he has the knowledge of what and where the ingredients are, his cultivation level won't allow him to easily get these herbs. Without the various herbs to create medical pills, the application of his knowledge can be said as nonexistent.

”I really need to focus on my cultivation now...”

Jiang Chen grimaced and began to sort the new knowledge inside of his brain.

An hour later, Jiang Chen opens his eyes and blew outwards. A smile cracked across his face as he got up and went out of the room.

Fen Tang was already outside setting up the table for dinner.

Hello, Husband.”

She looked up from what she was doing and had a big blush on her face.

”You don't have to address me like that if you're uncomfortable. You can just call me by my name for now.”

”Alright.”

Jiang Chen sat down across from Fen Tang and the two began eating.

Since Fen Tang was a princess and didn't have much experience with household chores growing up, the dishes she made had a treacherous amount of sugar or salt and really burnt.

Even so, Jiang Chen just ate the meal without any complaints.
