1 The Battle At HAC (1/2)
TAYLOR-”Where did the anomalie go? We had him a few days ago, now he just vanished!.”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”I don't know... Wait a level 7 anomalie on the scanner!”
TAYLOR-”Level 7? Thats pretty high dont you think?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”Hell thats the highest one weve ever seen!”
TAYLOR-”Hows about we go say hi!”
Taylor and the HAC employee climbed up the stairs,went out the door and into the helecopter. They took off in the direction of the anomalie. as soon as they got close enough to see it the the the HAC Employee started diving at an alarmingly fast rate. Taylor looked at the pilot and saw he was shrouded in darkness.
TAYLOR-”Wha- WHATS GOING ON!”
The chopper was going to crash and they were too low to use the parachute so Taylor just had to hope he could survive the crash. The impact hit knocking Taylor out of the helecopter before the helecopter could go on its side if he hadn't gotten out fast enough he would hadebeen shreaded in the blades. The helecopter crashed with the HAC Employee inside. Taylor looked into the cockpit of the helecopter and saw the HAC Employee loading the flare gun. He thought he was going to signal for help but he put the end of the plare gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger.
BANG!
TAYLOR-”HOLY SHIT!”
The darkness was now gone as soon as the flare lit up the cockpit. the helecopter was now on fire. The Taylor thought ”The radio! Its on his belt! I can call for them to get me!” The only problem is the cockpit was on fire. Taylor started running towards the chopper but toon realised that his left leg had its bone visible, then is when the pain kicked in. He screamed but he had to keep going he needed that radio. He hobbled to the helecopter and opened the cockpit door and saw the HAC Employee's burning corpse. He grabbed the radio off his corpse, It burned his hand since the radio was on a burning corpse. Trying the radio to make sure it still worked he called the HAC Emergency services.
TAYLOR-”MAYDAY MAYDAY WE HAVE A 42C EMERGENCY NEED EVACUATION IMMEDIATELY, OVER!”
HAC RADIO-”Location, over!”
TAYLOR-”SECTOR ZED ALPHA! BRING FIRE CREW, OVER!”
HAC RADIO-”Evacuation incomming, over.”
SPEAKERS-”WARNING WARNING HOSTILE ANOMALIE ATTACK, WARNING WARNING HOSTILE ANOMALIE ATTACK, PLEASE RETURN TO YOUR STATIONS!”
JADE-”Wait what happened?”
JAKE-”Yeah! Is something wrong?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”We lost Tom and almost lost Taylor! Quick to the entrance!”
We ran as fast as they could down the corridors to the enterance to find Taylor on a stretcher being wheeled down to the medical wing, we followed the stretcher. when they got to the medical wing. Taylor wanted to talk to Jake and Jade.”
TAYLOR-”Hey kiddos how ya doin?”
JADE-”Better than you is seems heh.”
JAKE-”What even happened out there?”
TAYLOR-”You know how you saw your parents shrouded in darkness?”
JAKE-”Yeah?”
TAYLOR-”Well... heh... the pilot who was flying me to investigate the anomalie was shroued just like your parents.”
JAKE-”Wait WHAT! That asshole made me kill my parents!”
JADE-”How can we be sure I mean you wern't there mabey he was just in a shadow?”
TAYLOR-”The pilot killed himself right after he cashed the helecopter.”
JADE-”Mabey it is him, but he clearly isn't friendly we should probably keep a distance.”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”*Ahem* sorry to intrude but we need your help, we need the blackbox on the helecopter. The chopper had a camera recording on it and its hard drive was in the blackbox and we believe you with your abilitys you can defend against the anomalie, do you think you can do it?”
JADE-”Give us a minute to think.”
JAKE-”Yeah give us a sec.”
JADE” You do know this will be very dangerous right, possibly the most dangerous thing you have ever done.”
JAKE-”Yeah but mabey we can help contain the anomalie before it can cause more damage!”
JADE-”Are you sure its not revenge speaking?”
JAKE-”YES IM S- Look I believe we can do this so why not, its the greater good. Please we have to do this.”
JADE-”Well, if your sure.”
JADE/JAKE-”We'll do it!”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”Great! we will leave at 1300 hours.”
JADE/JAKE-”?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”Sorry, 1:00.”
We left at one to go into the forest around the facility accompanied by three other HAC Employees. We would be on foot since the only helecopter had crashed. We walked for about 3 miles into Zed Alpha when it started getting dark, we decided to camp for the night. Before they went to bed Jake wondered...
JAKE-”So sir?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”Yes?”
JAKE-”I dont think they told me, what level anomalie am I?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”Level 2 sir.”
JAKE-”And Jade?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”level3 sir.”
JAKE-”Do you know what level the new anomalie is?”
HAC EMPLOYEE-”Negatory sir.”
JAKE-”Well goodni-”
The HAC Employee was now surrounded by darknes he said to wake up the Jade, I did. He grabbed a bucket and put out the fire in the middle of our camp and started talking to us.
HAC EMPLOYEE-”You too are special arent you... I can feel it.
JADE-”Your not a HAC employee anymore are you.”
HAC EMPLOYEE-” Correct I am Sean.”
JAKE-”Ok, Sean, did you kill my parents!”
SEAN-”No *you* did that by yourself just fine.”
JAKE-”IM GOING TO KILL YOU YOU SON OF A BITCH!”
SEAN-'Haha id like to see you try.”
JADE-”Please just get out of his head, let him live.”
SEAN-”No can do in that department. Speaking of...”
The other two guards came out of their tents grab their grenades, pull the pins and held them to their chests. BOOM! The guard in front of me looked and smiled at us and said,” nice eyepatch kid!” and snapped his own neck. As soon as he died the darkness was gone.
JADE-”DAMMITDAMMITDAMMITDAMMIT, HOLY SHIT THEYRE DEAD!”
JAKE-”Yeah I know, If youve seen as much death as I have you get used to it real quick.”
Jade began to cry as Jake got the blood covered radio on the HAC Employee's side.
JAKE-”Uh hello, please help, um HAC Station base thing uh all three of our escorts have died I repeat they're all dead!”
