”Kara!” He screamed again making her pause ”Its not safe here! Go! Leave now!”
”Im not afraid of anything Derrick”

”No, you dont understand, you must leave here before its too late!”

He iced up, behind Kara came a shadow.

It was too late, Seth struck Kara over her head and she collapsed. Seth bellowed with laughter and entered the room.

Derrick pulled hard on the chains screaming, somehow some of his strength was returning thanks to his anger, but Seth drew a pistol out from the back of his belt and leveled it to Derrick's head. Kara groaned and woke up.
