Phillip stopped in front of Benson's cabin and climbed out. Benson and Suzette remained in the car, still in shock of what happened. On the bull bar of the Jeep sat the black fluid smeered by the wind, it had a bloody awful smell, he dipped his finger in it then felt it with his thumb, it wasn't oily, but it was thick. Benson climbed out but held his nose for the smell. Suzette also gained courage and joined them.
”What the fuck is it?” Benson asked
Phillip reached past the bullbar and grabbed something in the grill, he yanked it out, it was sickle shaped, the one end of it had a black jellow like tissue on, the other end bare, ot was light in weight.
”Is that what i think it is?” Suzette asked.
”Its a rib bone, from that wolf we hit” Phillip said.
”A rib!? But theres no meat at one end! And the other looks like...”
”Rotten meat” Phillip said looking at them.
”This wolf, was never alive to begin with, the state of this black blood, and rotren black meat indicates it should be dead for months now”
”But you fucking saw it come at us Phillip!” Benson yelled.
”I know” He replied and looked down the street at Anna's cabin.

Phillip felt a knot in his gut, this was outward wrong and fucked up at the same time, he knocked at her door hard and she opened.
”Mind explaining this?” He said holding the bone up, she looked at it closely then up at his face again.
”You touched it didn't you? The totem?”
Phillip remembered how right after he touched the heap of dirt the wolves started howling.
”So this is what you ment?”
”Yes, you can approach a totem, but as soon as you touch it, they awaken”

”I have warned you about how people die around those things, you were the one who failed to heed my warning” She said and slammed the door shut.
”Fok man!” He screamed and paced back to his cabin. When he burst in both Benson and Suzette flew up.
”I need to go back to that place”
”What place!? That fucking heap!?” Benson yelled.
”Yes! There was something off about it, i need more time to inspect it”
”Are you out of your fucking mind! Those things will kill you!”
