”Sasha, tomorrow we are moving into our own house, its been given to us by Maxwell of the Browning clan”
”Our own house? how kind of him”

”Whats wrong with staying with Derrick untill you get another job?” Sasha was in tears, Luna didnt want this, she had hoped she would understand, but she realised she had no right. She wanted to tell both her daughters about this, but she's not allowed to speak to Derrick. So she decided to tell them in the new house.
”Its complicated, tomorrow we move into the new house, and there, i will tell you everything”
Sasha wiped her tears ”I cant beleive you did this”

Luna slapped her ”You! Dont mock me!” she said laughing.
”Lets go ma, i bet those two are finished already”
”i can believe that, another thing, im going to ask something of Derrick, and his answer is going to give you an idea, why i dont really want to stay here” Luna said and Sasha frowned ”Ok?”
Back in the dining room the two still silently sat eating.
”Seriously you two? Here you had the chance to make small talk, you know, get to know each other, and instead you stuff your faces!” Sasha said sitting down, they both shrugged and answered the very same words together.
”I'm hungry” They echoed and looked at each other making Luna and Sasha laugh.
”So, Derrick, this Jason, why if you could beat him, did he beat you thistime?” Luna started winking at Sasha.
”Well, i, its not something i want to talk about”
”Is it because of your eaps?” She poked.
”Where did you hear that?” He frowned.
”From Elsje”
”Dammit, i told her to keep quiet”
”Im sorry Derrick,we started chatting and it just spilled”
He placed a piece of burger down ”Yes, its because of that”
”So, if you go into that little, overdrive, what would have happened to Jason?”
He looked up at her ”I would have killed him”

”Whats eaps?”
”My body goes into this overdrive, i cant remember what happens during that time, but i saw the videos people take, and its not pretty”
”What happens in the video?” Kara asked.
”I...” he hesitated at first ”I struck that guy down, he was bigger than me, but still i picked him up, and effortlessly swung him face first into a wall, shattering his scull... and killing him”
The three women watched him im silence, Luna didnt know how serious this eaps is.
”Judge me if you want, i dont care, its what people has done to me all my life. Labeled me a killer because of an incurable condition” He said liftinh his trouser legging, on his ancle was a bracelet that looked like a watch.
”This serves as both a tracker, and a heartbeat monitor, when that anger sets in, my heart rate escelates to dangerous levels, then this thing sends a signal to the police, and they rush over to come make sure i dont kill someone” He dropped his legging and continued eating ”There, you happy now Luna?”
Kara looked at him with new eyes, he was almost the exact opposite of Seth, hes capable of what Seth can do, but is ashamed of it to such an extent that he hid it from them. Kara smiled at him for the first time since they met.
”Judge you? I think that eaps is pretty badass”
Derrick didnt take it as a compliment.
”Badass? Badass!? killing someone isnt badass!” he yelled.
”Don't get angry Derrick” Luna said.
”No, trust me, you three dont have it in you to make me angry enough to lose myself, it takes the right person to push the right buttons”
Kara's smile didn't fade, it made him smile aswell ”Well atleast i hot to see your smile for a change”
Kara looked down and continued eating.
”So, you say you blank out?” Sasha asked.
”Yes, its not something healthy that happens, the worst case was that first time, my muscles were torn, every bone in my body was cracked, i had heatstroke, my heart stopped a few times, and eventually i ended up in a coma for a month, during that overdrive, im basically killing myself”
Luna and Sasha were out of words, but Kara somehow, found a liking in him.
”I think, im going to stick to you like glue from now on, if that bastard Jason fucks with you again, im going to allow you to beat the shit out of him, then when i have decided hes had enough, ill calm you down”
Derrick laughed ”Oh yeah? and how will you do that?”
”Chuck you with water, maby with sand, slap you around a bit, heck, ill evwn kiss you if it'll do the trick” She smiled blowinb him a kiss.
Derrick looked at Luna, who was equally surprised.
”It seems you finally broke the ice Kara” She laughed eventually.
Kara shrugged placing a French fry in her mouth.
