22 Empresses v. Emperors (1/2)

Several hours have passed since Kuini and her sisters were fawning over the painted images of her son.

Hyping him up to the three women, she bragged about how heavenly it felt and how easily she broke through.

All three women's eyes glimmered as they imagined themselves in the act. The rewards were truly too tempting to turn down.

The women didn't take much convincing when they promised to force their elders and ancestors to dual-cultivate with him.

Jiang even tried to sell her Red Oasis Academy's top seeded students to her for Da long to enjoy. Of course Kuini excitedly accepted. Following this, each woman began taking out papers and signing contracts. By the end of the day, Kuini was exceptionally pleased with herself.

Flipping through the papers, she beamed. She had managed to get Da long 400 students from each school, plus 100 elders, 10 ancestors, and an empress. (FROM EACH COUNTRY). This totals up to roughly 2,841 guaranteed women. Not just that, they each would try to talk the Deans of the respective schools into joining his harem.

She covered her mouth with her soft palm and giggled gleefully. '2,800 girls means a lot of points for me! Da long, tell me; whos the best mother? Hehehe'

By now, the end of the first day arrived. Looking down, she watched the horizon; the sinking sun was roughly 75% gone.

Kuini sighed. She had only left a letter for Da long before leaving. Originally she was quite angry since he had promised to visit her every night; yet when she stalked him, he always seemed to be busy thrusting his big dragon into the Dean.

She knew that if she went to say goodbye to him, she would inevitably end up spending the night with him; resulting in her inability to walk properly the next day.

She remained seated while thinking of her darling Da long until the sun fully sunk down.

The darkness was fought off by the glowing yellow feathers of the foux thunder phoenix. She sat silently as she watched her three sisters playing around and discussing old antics and stories of their childhood. Under the yellow glow, the sombre of the night faded away as a smile crept up her face.

*one week later*

Kuini, Jiang, Yucheng, and Xiannu once again found themselves under the light of an afternoon sun, hovering a thousand feet over the glittering ocean.

”Hey!!” Xiannu jumped up shouting. ”LAND!”

Jiang moaned as she stood up. She began massaging her plump behind. ”Oh thank the gods, I don't think I could've taken this any longer.”

Kuini and Yucheng just smiled as the cast their eyes upon the crescent shaped island several miles in front of them.

It was the Yue Guang Island; one of the few islands the border the Sun God's territory. It's actually the place said to be the birthplace of their Moon Goddess; although it has neither been confirmed nor denied by her. In any case, noone has ever seen her on it, so people may believe what they will.

The island was completely white, and had exceptionally strong yin Qi; making it a wonderland for female cultivators. All four empresses present have only had the opportunity to set foot her twice prior.

The closer they got, the colder they felt. Even Kuini who grew up and lived in a yin heavy cold climate was shivering. The yin Qi was several times more potent here.

The one who had it worst was Jiang; the empress of a desert and tundra climate. This cold was enough to significantly ruin her day. (Chafing her nipples really badly I assume)

She had begun rubbing her arms and hands rapidly as she breathed on her palms.

Very quickly, the sunny afternoon became dreary and bleak; the sun was blocked out by a grey and snowy atmosphere.

It was roughly an hour after they entered before the Foux Thunder Phoenix landed.

With gentle flutterings, the massive glowing yellow bird came to a landing on a large gloomy pier. Upon the bird's arrival, several maids rushed up and began caring for the bird.

The four empreses jumped down; teeth chattering. Luckily, several maids were waiting with coats.

”This way missus,” the beautiful maids said, leading them out from the docks, directly to a carriage.

The docks were moderately busy; seeing hardworking girls running here and there, and maids making themselves busy.

The carriage was waiting for them on the other side of the frosted paved street. Opposite of everything around it (Grey houses with blue roofs; covered in frost. Even the streets are grey and white; matching the sky.), the carriage was very bright and warm.

On the outside it was red, bordered by gold embossing and embellishments. The wheels were likewise golden; and even firemanes (hot horses) that pulled the chariage helped to warm the atmosphere.

In inside was nice and toasty, making each woman sigh in comfort.

”Missus, the Moon Goddess 3rd handmaid is waiting for you. You will be taken directly to her temporary residence.” The maids outside lines up and bowed as the spoke to the empresses.

Each empress nodded and smiled at the maids.

With a neigh and the crack of a whip, the carriage creaked forwards.

The empresses sat in silence as the felt the carriage rock slightly. The only thing heard was each others breathing, and the clopping of the horses. Occasionally some little girls could be heard shouting from the side of the streets.

Pulling back the carriage curtains, Kuini watched as the snow fell around the little girls playing in the street. One little girl got hit in the face by a snowball and began to cry loudly. Te girl that threw the snowball immediately ran over and hugged the crying girl. Within seconds, she was crying too. The other girls just watched and waited for the two to finish.

Kuini's eyes twinkled as she watched the girls. 'Hmph, when I get back, I'll make Da long give me my own little girl!' With that thought, she smiled deviously and let the curtain fall back.
