After eating half of the meal, Yu Huan's phone rang. Leaves' expression changed. She immediately grabbed her phone and saw David's number.

Ye Zichen rolled his eyes at Yu Huan and chucked the phone to the side.

”Is this person sick? ”I usually don't care about you two, but why are you so eager to join us now?”

Yu Huan helplessly shook her head, ”He probably has something urgent to discuss with me.”

”Urgent matter? How could he be in such a rush? How annoying! ” Ye Zichen glared at her, then stuffed the phone into her hands, ”Alright, I don't care about you anymore. Whatever you want to do, I can't do anything to you.”

Yu Huan's face was also filled with helplessness as she called the number again.

After saying a few simple sentences, he hung up.

”Ye-zi, I have to go back. Help me send Xiaolong to kindergarten later.”

Yu Huan's heart softened as she held Xiao Long in her arms. ”Xiao Long, blow the candle with Mama.”

When the candles on the cake were blown out, she said slowly, ”David said he was going to a party with me.”

”I knew he would never look for you except for these things.” Ye Wen glared disdainfully at her, snatching away the little dragon in her arms, and said with a bitter face, ”Xiaolong, don't let your mother get away with it. Mummy Ye is good to you, be your son.”

”Xiaolong likes Mama.” Xiao Long pouted his mouth in grievance and crawled towards Yu Huan.

Yu Huan hugged Xiao Long tightly and sighed, ”I can only help David with this, what else can I do?”

”You shouldn't even marry him!” Leaves angrily said, her eyes filled with melancholy.

”But I'm fine now. A good job, a lovely son, and a friend who loves me. I'm satisfied.” Yu Laughing happily, he kissed Xiao Long on the cheek and said, ”Xiaolong, Mama is gone. Do you know that you have to be obedient when you're with Mummy Ye?”

”But Mummy Leaf always gives me sugar to eat, Mama clearly said that the dragon did not eat sugar well.”

”You ingrate! I gave you some sweets, and you even sold me off! ” Leaves angrily glared at Xiao Long.

Yu Huan shook her head and helplessly said, ”Ye-zi, thank you.”

”When did you learn to be polite?” Leaves raised her eyebrows in dissatisfaction.

Yu Huan got into the car and left. She habitually rested her head against the window as she looked out at the beautiful city. She had already been here for the past five years without her realizing it.

At first, it was really difficult. Luckily, she met David later, so she was very grateful to him.

After returning to the apartment, David stood quietly in front of the mirror as he tidied up his clothes. He wore a formal suit on his tall and slender body, looking extremely appropriate and suave.

Yu Huan stepped forward and climbed onto his chest with her small hands. She skillfully buttoned up the belt and tied it again.

”Is this banquet very important?”

David snorted, answering her question. He was of pure French blood, with blonde hair, blue eyes, a fair face, and a deep, firm face. No matter how one looked at it, he was handsome.

”The dress is there.” He casually pointed at the bed with an indifferent expression.

Yu Huan nodded her head. She picked up her dress and walked to the next room. She wore a purplish-blue dress that gave her a graceful and elegant appearance. Her wavy hair fell on her shoulders, giving her a gentle and beautiful appearance.

He was intelligent and generous. There was no place that didn't exude the aura of a noble.

The corner of Yu Huan's mouth curled up into a cold smile. She had never thought that she would become such a woman one day. She had once envied Tully so much and felt inferior to him.

Now that he thought about it, it was actually nothing much.

Leaning on David's arm, she squinted and dozed off. She heard David's question in her ear, ”Is the hotel very busy?”

”Yes, I was busy until midnight yesterday. Something happened.” Yu Huan replied in a muffled voice, her tone tinged with exhaustion.

”If you're tired, then don't go to work. Xiaolong is the old man's precious baby, you can't make the slightest mistake.” David said expressionlessly. Although the two of them were talking about trivial matters, it was still possible to tell that the two of them were unfamiliar with each other.

Yu Huan opened her eyes and shook her head, ”No, I can't live the life I spend at home every day.”

”Yes.” An indifferent voice responded to her. Other than that, there was nothing else.

Yu Huan sighed. If she was allowed to be a full-time mother, she probably wouldn't qualify.

If it wasn't for Xiaolong being obedient since she was young, she wouldn't know how to worry.

And she was also a 25-year-old woman, no longer the reckless little girl from before.

The so-called banquet was a charity auction, and most of the people in the auction were well-known figures.
