”Don't worry about me, Mika. Save yourself!” Her friend, Michelle, once again cried out.

Sob! Sob!

”M-Michelle…” Mika murmured as tears streamed down on her face.

'God, I will do anything. Just please save my best friend.' Mika prayed in her mind as she watched her best friend who was about to die in the hands of the number of goblins. However, as if a god heard her pray, a powerful explosion suddenly exploded out, blocking the path of the wave of monster.

'W-What's happening?!' Mika held her gray cone hat with her right hand as she defends herself with her left hand which is holding her staff while keeping her balance.

The two men also stopped at their feet when they heard the powerful explosion as they heard the agonizing scream of the goblins and gray wolves. Looking behind them, they found a huge fire and smoke, burning the monsters alive.

”What in the world is happening?!” The man with a longsword on his back muttered with a flabbergasted expression.

”Don't ask me that. I don't even know myself!” The man with a steel bow answered with the same expression.

While they are staring in shock, Mika was jolted back to her senses as she cried out with a worried expression. ”Michelle!!!”

”MICHELLE!!!” Mike screamed out once again. However, there's no response at all as, she also could not find Michelle. Thus, she started to become anxious while thinking that maybe Michelle was caught up by the powerful explosion.

'N-No, Michelle is alright!' Mika thought as she shook her head and slowly walked forward with determined eyes to search her best friend.

Upon seeing this, the two men behind her were momentarily stunned as they clicked their tongue at the same time, before running and stopped her from going.

”What are you doing? Are you insane?!”

”Vince? What are you doing? Get off me, I will find Michelle!” Mika shouted when she saw the man with a steel bow who's trying to stop her. Attempting to pull her right arm off Vince, a rough and strong hands suddenly held her other arm.

”Michelle is gone. You're going to kill yourself!” The man with a longsword on his back spoke with a loud voice as he clasped the flinging arm of Mika.

”You too, Bryan. Let go of my hand!” Mika demanded as she forcefully pulled her arms.

Upon seeing this, Bryan couldn't stop himself from grumbling in frustration. ”Argh! You're mad!”

”We need to go now! Mika, come on!” Vince spoke while looking at the big fire, as he felt the increase in the temperature. Beads of sweat streamed down on his face.

”No, I'm not going without Michelle!” Mika exclaimed without an ounce of hesitation as she starts to advance.

”Argh!” Bryan growled as he held his head in frustration. But then, his eyes locked with Vince as he saw him nodding his head.

At first, he was confused about Vince's meaning. However, it didn't take long as he realized what's his indicating. Thus, without hesitation, he kneeled his left knee on the ground and put Mika on her shoulder with a growl.

”Graaaaa…”

”W-Woah! Put me down, Bryan!” Mika demanded while kicking her feet.

”Forgive me, Mika, but we're leaving now!” Vince took the lead to apologized as he nodded his head to Bryan before he leads the way.

”No!!! I'm going to find Michelle!”

BOOOM!!!

Another deafening explosion exploded out as the quaking voices of the monsters reverberated in the forest. It was followed by a whooshing sound as a human figure pierced out of the cloud of smoke, arriving behind the escaping Mika's group.
