”STOP HIM!!!”

'In your dreams!' Kim Shin exclaimed in his mind as he hurriedly ran. However, before he could run far, a silhouette of a man suddenly jumped over him and blocked his path.

”You're not going anywhere.” The man arrogantly stated as he glared at Kim Shin.

Seeing the familiar appearance of the man, the village's guards couldn't refrain themselves from exclaiming. ”Captain!!!”

”WOOO! Captain's finally here!”

”Captain! Captain! Captain!”

”Kill that human!”

'Hmm, he seems pretty famous even with his undescribable appearance...' Kim Shin smiled with that thought when he heard the voices of the village's guards as he appraised the man before him.

Pair with big apple-green eyes and brushed-up long aquamarine hair with spear-like runes connected on his sideburns. Khrusz could be described as a cool man. Unfortunately, he has a big and long nose like a goblin added with thick lips and square chin. To be more specific, Khrusz's appearance was like a squared-face goblin with a height of 6ft tall and dark-brown skin.

Khrusz was heavily clad by white-silver full plate armor, emphasizing his dark color, with an azure cape over his shoulder, and armed with a brass-colored spear, with a green cloth coiled before the spear's blue-green blade.

'That spear's blade seems like made of rare material.' Kim Shin's eyes instantly lit up once he saw Khrusz's spear.

On the other hand, when Khrusz heard the voices of his men couldn't stop his eyebrows to twitch in annoyance.

”SHUT UP! You dare to open all your mouth when y'all couldn't kill a single human?!” He bellowed without ounce of mercy. As a matter of fact, he's watching the fight from the village's wall, and he ludicrously couldn't believe what he witnessed. His men couldn't graze a weakling human that armed with trash equipments.

”C-Cap...”

They couldn't utter a single word once they heard their captain's furious voice. They knew that they become a laughingstock in their captain's eyes. Hence, they couldn't do anything but lowered their heads, ashamed at their incapability.

”You, human, you're not going anywhere!” After scolding his men, Khrusz turned his head and shouted at Kim Shin who's about sneak away.

”Well, if you insist.” Kim Shin simply answered as he shrugged his shoulder.

In reality, Kim Shin really wanted to escape right away. However, he immediately erased that decision after he saw Khrusz's spear. Although his not spear wielder, he knew someone that would certainly love it.

So, with that in mind, he decided to get that spear before leaving. It's a waste if a good weapon was on a trash person's hands.

”You humans are just new here, but you already dared to cause a ruckus in our village?” Khrusz spoke to Kim Shin as if the humans are in fault here.

Hearing this, Kim Shin scoffed at Khrusz's words as he replied. ”Funny!”

Narrowing his eyes at Kim Shin's answer, Khrusz then asked. ”What's funny?!”

”HAHA. Nothing. It's just amusing that you all could wore an expression as if you're all an innocent.”

”What do you mean about that?”

Khrusz's tone of voice became cold as his expression darkened.

'It seems like this man know something...' He thought as he clenched his spear with his hands. Preparing himself from the incoming battle.

”Haha. I think you already understood what I mean about that.”

Kim Shin chuckled as he softly answered and gripped the hilt of his sword.

”Wha— the prisoners!”

Khrusz who's about question Kim Shin exclaimed in realization as his expression became even more darker. ”You, what did you do?”

”No, it's impossible. He wouldn't able to found that place...” He immediately shook his head, as he muttered under his breath, denying the fact that Kim Shin indeed discovered the prison cell. He then stared at the human before him as he saw Kim Shin smiling weirdly to him.

”I don't care. All I need to do is to kill you. So, I can lessen the chief's anger!” Khrusz bellowed as he looked at Kim Shin with killing intent.

”Hmph.”

As he felt Khrusz's killing intent, Kim Shin simply snorted as he spoke. ”So, you've decided to be my enemy huh?!”

”I'm already your opponent the time you made a mess in my village!”

Khrusz replied as he forward his left foot, slightly bent his knees, pulling his spear by his right hand as he faintly support the blade of his spear by his left hand.

Kim Shin, on the other hand, simply positioned his right arm and foot to the front as he held his constellations devourer before him.

Silence filled the surroundings, even the guards who already surround Kim Shin and Khrusz were quiet as they hold their breaths. Seemingly afraid to cause a distraction.

The two stared at each other without moving an inch. Then, suddenly, a bead of sweat from one of the watching guards fell on the ground.

Drip!

And in just an instant, Kim Shin and Khrusz quickly pushed their feet and run at full speed towards each other.

Crack! Whoosh!

A web-like cracked appeared on the ground around Khrusz feet with his weight. However, despite his weight, he's moving with incredible speed.

'What a surprise.' Kim Shin commented in his mind, as he slightly lowered his upper torso, increasing his speed.
