A soft sweet voice resounded in Niken's mind. For a moment, Niken did not respond and continued sleeping.

Niken, wake up.

The voice did not stop calling her name to disturb her sleep. Finally, Niken opened her eyes and blinked a few times. For a moment, she still thought she was in her room. But something tickled her face and her hands as if she was not sleeping on her bed. It felt like she was asleep on the grass??

Niken stared wide when she realized that now she was in a vast meadow. There were no trees, no houses, only the grass around her.

Is it possible that she is dreaming? Is this another nightmare?

Niken rose to her feet to search for the sound source only to find a familiar butterfly.

A stunning girl with a pair of golden butterfly wings behind her stood elegantly in front of Niken. Her hair was goldish yellow, and her round eyes were full of the sparkle of gold.

The shape of her ears tapers upward like elves' ears. Her clothes were white with a model like a Greek goddess in ancient times. Her pure jade skin shone as if she was an angel who came down to earth.

The woman's aura was so elegant and majestic that it made her feel reluctant and wanted to respect her.

”Niken, please drop your plans to dive into the lake to get the orb. Your efforts will be in vain.”

The girl smiled then waved her hand, creating changes around her.

Niken no longer stood in the vast meadow, but she was in a cave surrounded by light magic in every corner. Niken could see a silver-haired man focused on doing something.

Niken saw a black liquid coming out of a bottle and floating in midair. The man injured his own palm, then let his blood drip into the fluid, and the two liquids fused together.

Niken could feel a strong force coming from the combination of the two liquids, making her clueless. What liquid is it? And why did the butterfly lady take her to one of the pureblood wizards' lair?

The one who darkens the mermaid lake? Could it be that this person was Zehell's father?

Not having time to finish her curiosity, Niken has moved back and is in the same meadow.
