Chapter 4 - Women in White and Women in Cheongsam

The woman in white was descending the slope, approaching him. He couldn't see her clearly, but he sensed that the woman was staring at him.

Mui Chu was a bit nearsighted but did not wear glasses. After all, other than the drop in visibility on rainy days, his daily routine did not affect him at all. Mu Yi Chu glanced at the woman who was getting closer and closer but still could not see her face. He then got into the car. He didn't want to waste too much time waiting for the car.

”Wait a minute!”

The car had only moved a few meters when it stopped.

The woman opened the door and got in, saying, ”Thank you. It's too hard to take a taxi here. Master, please send this mister off first before sending me off. I'll go to Nanping Road. ”

Mu and Chu stared at her from the car. She was concentrating on packing up her folding umbrella when she noticed Mu Yichu's gaze. She looked up and said to Mu Yichu, who was sitting beside her, ”I'm sorry, I need to get in a car.”

”Bai Zhongning?” Mu Yi Chu's breathing quickened as he asked hesitantly.

The woman paused, then said, ”You — know my sister?”

Mu Yi Chu looked at her a few times, and realized she didn't look like Bai Zhongning at all. It was just that at first glance, it looked more like it, but upon closer inspection, it discovered that Bai Zhongning still looked a little better.

”Master, please send her off first.” Mu Yi Chu said to the driver.

”Thank you.” Bai Jingling mainly came today to pay respects to her granny. She also wanted to see Bai Zhongning. In a few days she would be out of the country again. IELTS. She had also received the offer to apply for the university entrance examination.

”You are Bai Zhongning's younger sister?” Mu Yi Chu probed.

”Yes, my name is Bai Jingling.” Bai Jingling replied politely before turning his head to look outside the window.

”Your sister, why did she commit suicide?” Mu Yi Chu could tell that Bai Jingling did not want to communicate at all, but he still continued to ask.

Bai Jingling frowned with displeasure on his face, but she replied indifferently, ”I'm not too sure. ”She died”, Bai Jingling pushed the hair on the side of her face behind her ears and continued, ”I only returned to my country after she died.”
