She walked into the room and help james stand up then she brought him to the couch and began to clean the blood on his lips with her hankechief. Her eyes were concentrated on his wound but James felt nervous as to why she was being nice to him.

”Beatrix am...”

”PAP!” she slap James before he could finish his sentence ”Save your apology” she added.

James didn't utter a word after she slapped him, yes he knows he deserve that, maybe even more but as long as it will make her forgive him, she can hit him as much as she want. Chris was dumbfounded by her action, he slowly put back the gun that was in his hand behind his back and sat on the couch next to Beatrix and James's. He looked at them, still confused at what just happened.

For the both of them, Chris having a gun is a normal thing because had the licences to own a gun, and he was trained by the special army that their family owns. They are only summoned when something serious happens in the family, like a family member being kidnapped or an attack on any of the family branch. All the personnel at the base are shadow fighters, they were trained to work in silence. They can kidnap the president of a country without anyone noticing them. They work in and out, no mess ups or slip ups are allowed.

”How did you know i was coming?” Chris asked as he reached for the bottle was water on a table infront of him.

”I just sensed you will do something like this” she glared at him after saying the words

”Hmph, whats with the look?”

”I am old enough to handle my business, i dont need you fighting people for me, i can do that myself” she stopped cleaning James's wound then turned and held Chris hand ”I dont need all that anymore, you have a wife, do that for her not me”
