Chris arrived at his apartment, as he opened the door. He saw an angry face staring him down like they are about to explode with words, he quietly shut the door and walked towards her with some bags in hishands.

”Am sorry for leaving you hungry?” Chris stood in front of her as he dropped the bags in his hands.

Sophie looked at chris with a sharp gaze, she removed her hand from his and stood up then she took the bags and went to the kitchen without uttering a word. Chris tried to speak but his words stuck in his throat, he stood up and followed her.

Am sorry; Chris said as he entered the kitchen while Sophie acted like she didn't hear as she opened the bag and took out some plastic take-aways.

”Are you gonna keep ignoring me” he spoke again but to no avail

”Come on. I said am sorry”

”Ok fine” Chris's face turned cold and he left the kichen.

Sophie glared at him till he was out of sight, then an evil smirk appeared on her face. She took a plate and put some food in it then left the kitchen.

Chris sat on his swivel chair, his face emotionless and confused. He slightly leaned and taped the LAN telephone on his desk and said ”Miss Sapphire, i need you in my office now” with a cold voice. Sophie who was in her cubicle stood up hesitantly and entered his office, she stood by the door.

What do you need sir?; Sophie's looked uncomfortable as she asked.

Chris stood up from his chair and slowly walked towards her then said ”Nothing” with a cold voice, Sophie looked at him a confused face ”Ok then, i will go now” and she turned to reach for the door but Chris placed his hand against the wall to block her path, Sophie's heart skipped a beat and she slowly raised her head to look at chris.
