9 JUST HELPING (1/2)

As the moon left the sky, as the birds began to sing. Chris woke up as early as 5:00am, this was the first time he woke up this early on his own. He woke with a smile on his face as he went to the bathroom. He stood and took a gaze at his face in the mirror. He took a bath. He dressed calmly looking at his face in the mirror as he dressed to impress. By the time hefinished it was already 6:30, as he came downstairs, his sister noticed his face was full of happiness as she greeted him.

Hey bro good morning, how was your night; Beatrix asked.

Morning sis, am fine, all fine, everything is fine; he replied as he opened the door and left the house in a rush.

”Hmm, is he ok?”; Beatrix thought in her mind.

As he arrived the office, he went to talk to Mr. Wong(his father's secretary).

Morning Mr. Wong; Chris greeted the oldman.

Morning young master, what can i do for you; Mr. Wong replied.

I just want to inform you that i won't be able to come to the office for some days, i have some things i need to take care of, so i want you to take care of all my office works; Chris requested.

Ok no problem sir, but i hope its nothing serious?; Mr. Wong asked looking concerned.

No, not at all. Just some personal work; Chris answered as he smiled.

Chris then went to his office and sat on his swivel chair, he started to review some document but something skipped his mind, he stopped reading the documents and started thinking:

”I hope what am about to do is the right decision, Oh God help me. I hope i don't regret it”.

He then continued his work, he finished everything only to notice that its already 7pm. He left his office and went to see Sophie.

As he arrived at the hospital and he went to Sophie's room and met the doctor checking on her.

Oh evening Chris; Sophie's mother greeted.

Evening ma'am, can i talk to you for a second; he replied as he smiled.

Ok sure, anything the matter?; she asked looking confused.

No just wanted to talk in private; Chris replied

Ok;she replied as she straightened herself and they both walked out

Ok i wanna tell you that from now i will always be here to help you take care of Sophie until she heal from this emotional trauma, i kept myself believing it was my fault, so i want to make it up to her. Please don't reject; Chris said with a calm voice as he looked down to the floor.
