149 Scarlets Assaul (2/2)

”Scarlet. Wake up.” Wuxing called out, having no other choice but to wake her up. She was already leaning over to kiss his lips. Wuxing didn't want to wake her up yet Scarlet was just too much.

Both Anna and Katherine stopped talking as they glanced at Wuxing, wondering what happened.

”Mhmm…” Scarlet let out a small whimper as her movements halted. She slowly began returning from the dreamland, back into reality.

Without opening her eyes she hugged Wuxing, caressing his chest with her cheek, finding the place really comfortable before sitting up. She stretched her arms letting out another series of morning noises before returning back into Wuxing's arms.

”Give me five more minutes…I want to sleep some more…” Scarlet muttered as she cuddled once again, this time more conscious.

”Alright… Sleep but don't fall too deeply. We will be arriving soon.” Wuxing agreed, not minding that as long as she was calm.

”Did something happen?” Anna asked to confirm, walking up to them and froze, seeing one big hickey on his neck. It was exposed as Scarlet was now gently laying on his chest instead of his shoulder.

”No, nothing. Scarlet was sitting in a bad position so I wanted to move her a bit.” Wuxing replied as he patted Scarlet on the head.

”Oh, really? Nothing happened to Scarlet?” Anna asked curiously, not getting upset yet, giving him the chance to answer truthfully first.

Instead of replying to her question, Wuxing asked back, ”Anna, how about we talk about something else during dinner, tonight? I owe you one according to Devil Face.”

Anna wanted to pursue the hickey issue but when she heard him, she momentarily forgot about it and focused on his words.

”Of course! Tonight? Yes. Please. We are free anyway.” She didn't hesitate and quickly agreed. She was already informed about it from Maya yet she didn't want to be the first to ask about it.

”Then it's a date. Now sit down. It's dangerous to stand while flying.” Wuxing said with a smile.

”Oh, okay.” Anna was too happy to realise his tricks and simply compiled, sitting back down on her seat with a happy arch on her face.

Katherine glanced at her, not expecting that she would fall for such a simple ploy but she didn't comment, allowing her to feel happy for a moment.

Oof…

Wuxing breathed out a sigh of relief as he reverted his neck back to normal, realising only in the middle of a conversation with Anna what could be the case. Even he can sometimes forget about some details.

Standing on the runway of the Agos Airport, Dongmei glanced at the sky, wondering if she should wait a bit more. Her mother helped her contact the airport to check if there were any other private planes arriving that day and surprisingly, there were three, landing right after her own in the span on a single twenty minutes.

Already two planes landed but she didn't find her prince in them. Hoping to see his face even a day earlier, she decided to wait for the last plane but she couldn't help but feel it was useless. There was very little chance they planned to arrive on the same day and hour.

Unfortunately, the desire to meet him was much stronger.

Just then, she spotted the last plane in the distance, preparing to land and commented in her mind, 'Wuxing… Let it be you this time…'
