142 Date - Part 3 (1/2)
The sole balcony was almost the size of her whole apartment, as she could expect from the penthouse but its measurements were not what was surprising. Aside from the open kitchen in the middle of the balcony which was already rare, the rest was turned into a garden. An actual garden on the top of the building.
It wasn't just cleanly cut grass that her feet enjoyed greatly but also various colourful flowers and even trees which were planted inside the ground, making one feel as if they entered a real garden. There was also a hammock hanged in between two of the trees which had clear signs of being often used.
Aside from that, there were many brilliant lights illuminating the trees which brought wonders to people watching them at night. There was also a subtle path on the grass that was leading towards the wooden patio in the corner of the balcony. It was decorated entirely with roses and Sandra noticed it was already prepared for the two of them to eat there.
”Whoa… It's so nice in here… I wouldn't expect you to like nature so much.” Sandra said happily as she smelled the various flowers planted alongside the path, satisfied with her decision to follow Devil Face inside.
Devil Face would be happy to watch her enjoy herself for a little longer but he knew it was time to impress her even more so he walked up to her from behind and said calmly as he pointed at the horizon, ”Mhmm, it would be even prettier if we met a few hours earlier. You won't see a better sunset that from here.” He also sneakily placed his hand on her waist, closing the distance between them.
She followed his finger, not exactly bothered by his hand touching her and seeing the view from up there, she actually regretted not seeing it. There was a gap in between the buildings right where the sun was setting which would make a great sunset.
”Sigh, we could have met earlier then… I love watching sunsets…” Sandra sighed regretfully as she pouted cutely.
Devil Face only giggled to that and asked as he held onto her hand, ”Would you come for a date with me if I invited you to my place to watch the sunset?”
Seeing her blush, he already knew the answer she will give him so he didn't let her and instead pulled her towards the open kitchen island as he said, ”It's okay. Next time you come, we will watch the sunset together.”
Surprisingly, Sandra wasn't that against it and actually nodded, muttering, ”Mhmm… Sure.” In her mind, she thought that even if they were not together, she could still come from time to time and hang out on his balcony without problems. With their ability users becoming friends, it shouldn't be an issue.
Just then, Devil Face stopped their movements halfway and looked at the biggest tree while saying, ”Ah, right. I almost forgot to introduce someone important to you.”
She followed his gaze but didn't see anyone and asked curiously, ”Huh? Who?” Devil Face only smiled as he sat down on the grass before calling out with a single name, ”Bella!”
It was definitely a female name which momentarily ignited Sandra's senses but then her heart melted when she heard Bella's response.
Meow~
A cute cat's voice reached them before something white and fluffy dropped from the tree. Sandra's legs quickly weakened from the amount of cuteness she just saw and she fell to the ground next to Devil Face, watching as the most adorable cat she has ever seen began walking up to them.
