140 Date - Part 1 (1/2)
'What am I doing…?' Sandra asked herself with confusion in her mind while glancing at the man she currently walked side by side with. The indirect kiss of Devil Face ruined everything for her.
None of her plans that she set up before arriving worked and she was in his complete control. Sandra knew she was acting the way he wanted yet for some reason, she did not want to stop. The manliness he showed her made her feel really safe in his arms.
The moment he took her hand and continued to lead her, she had thoughts of letting go of it but he just didn't let her, acting as if it was natural and continued to chat with her, asking how was her day while acting all sweet, exactly like an actual boyfriend.
She quickly relaxed around him and before Sandra knew, she was leaning on his shoulder with her second hand holding onto his arm as they walked towards the restaurant. What made Sandra so troubled was still his handsome face that she just couldn't stop taking glimpses at.
The tips of his slightly longer black hair fell on one side of his pale but clean forehead, acting as a distraction from his clear sky blue eyes that were always trying to eat her alive. He also had a slight smile next to his shaved beard that seems to always teeter on the edge of a naughty giggle.
As they walked past one restaurant after another Devil Face squeezed her hand to gain her attention and said seriously, ”You know, even though it only started as an exchange and we were all laughing, I still consider it as a proper date. I hope we will have a lot of fun together.”
”Mhmm, this is my goal as well. Let's have fun.” Sandra couldn't agree more so she nodded but then, seeing that they walked past the last good restaurant in this direction, she asked curiously, ”In which restaurant did you book the table?”
Knowing why she was confused, Devil Face asked playfully, ”Are you scared I will lead you into a bad restaurant? Don't worry, I definitely prepared something special for you.”
Sandra only smirked as she said confidently, ”I'm not scared. Just curious. We are already reaching the residential area. There is nothing else there other than apartments. Are you planning to take me into your home on our first date?” She said it like a joke but the more they walked, the more possible that was.
Devil Face's next words unravelled the mystery though, ”I hired a personal cook for us and decorated my apartment's balcony to fit nicely for a romantic dinner.” As if he didn't want to give her a chance to reject him, Devil Face added to make her interested, ”I also prepared a challenge for you. I hope you don't chicken out.”
”Challenge?” Sandra asked suspiciously but Devil Face suddenly let go of her hand as they reached the gate to Devil Face's apartment block before saying mysteriously as he opened the gate for her, inviting her inside, ”You will only find out upstairs. That is if you are ready for new experiences. I can't say anything else.”
Sandra stared at him for a second, wondering if she should agree but in the end, her curiosity won and tipped the balance in the favour of diving into unknown.
She walked through the gate and peeking behind her, she called out calmly, ”Let's see this surprise then. I hope I'm not disappointed…” Sandra would normally curse at him but she acted very gently, so far not having any reason to.
Although the idea of going into his house for dinner was strange, she knew she could always walk away if anything was wrong. When Devil Face placed his hand on her waist as he led her upstairs, she finally got the opportunity to react and beat him up but she was once again defeated by his charming smile, stopping her from taking action.
Being calm outside, Devil Face was completely opposite inside his mind. He couldn't help but sigh in relief that he had Wuxing on his side, 'Ah, so glad Wuxing predicted everything. I hope he is right about the rest too...' He couldn't help but recall all Wuxing's ideas that were a one hundred percent accurate and ponder on his next move.
