”Sigh.” The more Suilan thought about it, the angrier she became. ”Then why don't you wear your underwear?” she asked sternly.
”No, actually.” Tang Tianbao stammered, not knowing whether he should reveal the reason or not.
At this moment, Suellen raised her whip again.
Tang Tian Bao was so frightened that his legs were trembling. In the end, he said the reason: ”Actually, I had underwear, but …” ”But Secretary Huang stole it …” Tang Tianbao regretted it immediately after he finished speaking because the company's rules stated that employees could not fall in love, and even more so, they could not cause trouble, or else they would be expelled.
”You mean Huang Ya Ye?” Su Ai Lan asked.
Seeing the murderous look in Su Ai Lan's eyes, Tang Tian Bao could not come up with a lie.
Tang Tianbao lowered his head and said, ”It's her. It's her.”
”How did she steal your underwear?” Suellen continued.
”The night before yesterday, I went drinking with her. She was drunk and insisted on having an affair with me. She went to my house. But... ”But, we didn't do anything, she stole my underwear and ran away …” Tang Tianbao explained the latter part of the story, but the more he described it, the darker it got. Suellen didn't listen to him at all.
Su Yilan finally found the evidence, finally found the evidence behind their secret meeting. A man and a woman were drunk, yet they didn't do anything on the same bed? No one would believe me if I told anyone about this. Not to mention that Suellen was an intelligent boss.
Now Suellen seemed to have no face. Her face was as stiff as a piece of iron.
In the end, Su Ai Lan's next decision was to expel Huang Ya Ye and Tang Tian Bao.
Tang Tianbao was so scared that cold sweat broke out all over his body. He desperately begged the expressionless and ruthless female boss, but it was of no avail. Su Ai Lan walked to Tang Tian Bao's desk, picked up a stack of design papers, and threw them on the ground. She viciously said to Tang Tian Bao, ”You can go — —”
Tang Tianbao woke up and sat up in panic as he muttered: ”You've expelled me?”
He looked around him in the darkness. Only the clock on the wall ticked. He patted his chest, took a deep breath, and sighed.
Tang Tianbao tilted his body and turned on the bedside lamp. He took out his phone and saw that it was already two o'clock in the evening. He took a cigarette out of his pack, lit it with a snap, took a drag, and was instantly alert. He felt empty and a little hungry. He got out of bed, put on his slippers, and walked over to the refrigerator.
Other than a few bottles of drinks, there was nothing else in the fridge.
He took out a bottle of Red Bull, popped it open, and gulped it down, scattering the ashes on the floor.
He leaned back on the sofa, smoking his cigarette sadly.
Tang Tianbao was simply vexed over the matter of him ripping off his pants. Actually, this was not a big deal. Mark Ballein's words also flashed through his mind: ”One of the signs of maturity is the realization that 99% of what happens to you every day means nothing to others.” Tang Tianbao knew that it was only at that moment that everyone was interested in him tearing their pants, but they all just laughed it off. Afterwards, everyone forgot that the one who was truly upset was himself.
Everyone understood that when it really came down to it, no one would be able to do it. This is the weakness of human nature, the great Mr. Lu Xun criticized, but the explanation is not finished. Everyone explained themselves, but some understood the logic and followed the standard. Some understood the logic and wanted to do it, but they could not.
Tang Tianbao was one of those people who wanted to do something. However, his self-control was lacking and he couldn't do it properly.
Actually, Tang Tianbao's worries were not unnecessary. The severity of the matter was greater than he had expected. This was something he did not know until he read the newspaper the next day, after a night of insomnia.
The next day, Tang Tianbao arrived at the unit very early.
To his surprise, Suellen arrived earlier than he did.
The only two people in the company were Su Ai Lan and Tang Tian Bao.
Su Ai Lan walked in front of Tang Tian Bao.
”Director Su, it's morning.” Tang Tianbao greeted Su Ai Lan. He suddenly recalled the scene in his dream yesterday: Su Ai Lan scolded him like a shrew.
”Tang Tianbao!” The veins on her face were popping out as she angrily shouted at Tang Tianbao.
Tang Tianbao immediately stood up from his seat politely. He could already guess from CEO Su's expression that a storm was about to arrive.
