48 Aunt Minis Home Baked Goods (1/2)
After I'd woken up the little Witch we'd decided that we'd leave the hotel and adventure out and see the rest of the town. I'd gotten a detailed map, on the way out from one of the snake woman about how to get back.
With that, we set off into the town.
”Alice?” The little witch cute voice sounded, she was holding my hand as we walked along an empty street.
”Yes,” I respond turning my attention to her and not the road.
”Is it okay if I call you Big Sis while we're out?” She asks me, her cute little white cheeks turning a delicate red as she averted her gaze from my eyes.
I felt a huge smile plaster itself to my face, I'd put the [Mask of Trickery] on before we'd left the hotel, and I now looked a lot more like the little witch. My hair wasn't white anymore and was rather an inky black, my eyes are the color of blood and I'd gained a couple of inches making myself even taller.
Haru had gone and mentioned the Knight's of the Goddess and I thought I might as well take his advice. Either way, it didn't cost me anything I just wore a mask and I didn't look like myself.
”Okay, then shall we think of a name for my little sister, or would you prefer me to just call you little sister?” I ask her giving her hand a light squeeze as I redirected my attention back to the street.
We'd departed quite early in the morning, the smirking and crying moon in the sky were making their descent down and a sun looked as if it was slowly starting to appear.
”A name?” She asks.
”Yes, a proper name, how does Wit sound? It's short for Witch,” I reply as we turned down another street, we currently we're walking about a little aimlessly.
”Wit.” She tested it out, ”I like it!” She says I glance at her from the corner of my eye, her face is twisted into a smile. I nod my head, slightly pleased with myself.
At the same time the scent of food hit my nose, I felt my stomach rumble. I hadn't eaten anything in over ten hours now, I think my body was trying to let me know it didn't appreciate it's treatment in the least.
Walking around another corner, there is a small shop that has a cat on the door sign and the building read 'Aunt Mini's Home Baked Goods' steering us in the direction where the delicate scent was coming from, I stop and peer into the little hole in the wall shop.
This one was actually much livelier than the other shop that I had gone with Haru. The guest in the building are of all different shape, sizes, and races. It had a warm glow to it as you'd find at an older person house, I think. My somewhat foggy memories suggested that this was the case.
”Want to go in?” I ask her, to which she give a quick bob of her head, her witches hat slipping down slightly. I push it back into place for her.
Grabbing the handle of the door, I pull it open and the scent of food becomes even more intense and the grumble of my stomach does as well.
