46 Opening The Goodies! (1/2)
After spending a good chunk of time in the bath and doting on Witch, I decided that it was time for us to open and go through the goodies that I had picked up at the store and to see just what in the world Haru had left for me in this ring.
Raising my hand, I looked at the ring it was a deep obsidian, lowering my hand I tie the towel around my body and head out of the bathroom area. The little Witch does the same and follows me out.
The room that we'd given was extravagant, the bed was huge it could fit at leave 6 people across it with ease for more. It had a huge canopy top that had gossamer silk hanging down. Moving towards the bed, where I'd left my backpack I plop down on the soft and squishy bed.
”Alice, should I put back on my dress?” I look up and find her holding that horrible brown rag. I shuddered at the thought of her putting it back on.
”No, I've gotten you something better,” I replied crawling further up onto the bed. ”Come here,” I patted the spot next to me.
Pushing my semi-wet hair out of my way, I swipe my hand across the air. The black ring warms up before it spits out its entire content.
I was a little shocked there was more outfit then I remembered buying and an assortment of other weapons and about twenty different skill books and some other trinkets. It appears that he's really gone on a buying spree, but I shrugged to myself he had the money, so I'd accept graciously.
The bed dipped a little bit before she sat down next to me her eyes scanning all the stuff that was in front of us. ”Alice this is all high-quality materials, and items. All the clothes are at least rated AA, they should have a lot of effects,” she mumbles running a hand over a set of clothes that were closest to her.
It would appear that he was very much like a doting boyfriend then. Rolling out my shoulders, I pick up a card that read [Language Comprehension]. Well, that was what I needed for sure, I quickly absorbed it as I had with the other cards.
There were about twenty other card and books that my little Witch was neatly stacking for me.
So I simply continued to absorb them gaining skills and new passives as I went. By the time I was done, I felt like my head was bursting a bit.
It felt like I'd eaten too much, except all the pressure was centered in my head and not my stomach.
Looking over, my little Witch was just sitting patiently looking between me and the clothes that were spread out on the bed and some of the other weapons that I'd been given by Haru.
Pressing a hand to my eyeball, I will the pressure in my head to go away. Surprisingly enough, the pressure dissipated easily. That was a relief, turning my attention back to the clothes, I pick up the [Nurse of the Dead] outfit that I had picked out for her. I also grabbed some cute black boots with blood red ribbon [Night Stalker] was the name of that. I'd also found a pretty black and golden witch hat for her to wear that was simply named [Sin].
”Here, I got these for you to wear,” I handed her everything in a neat little pile. Her blood red eye glowed with appreciation.
