”I refuse-” he starts, but I send him a murderous gaze and he gives a forced laugh before marching back towards the door and looking down.

”Haru, why are you chained up?” I ask him, rubbing a hand along his face, dried blood begins to flake and fall off his face.

”Alice...” He looks at me with those stunning eyes, before he turns his head to look at his arms and then around the room. His eyes darted around for a bit before they turned back towards me. His eyes looked a little clearer, the sleepiness vanishing from them.

”I fell into the maze, but you weren't there and then something attacked me, I can't remember the rest.” He says, his eyes show their confusion as he tries to recall the details.

Frowning, I place a hand against his chest, his heart was pounding rather hard. Sliding my hand around his back, I draw my body closer towards his, till I'm hugging him to my body.

”Alice, what's wrong?” He asks me, his breath hitting the top of my head.

”You sleepaholic!” I snap at him, for some reason, a sense of relief washed over my body after finding him. He was the only human that I had met in my time here, also the only one I'd met in this new world period.

After hold onto him for a couple second I realize him. Looking at the chains that were holding him to the wall, I frown. These had to go.

”I'm going to get you down,” I tell him drawing the sword from my waist.

”Be careful, I don't want you to get hurt trying to save me,” he speaks quickly, but I'd already raised the sword above my head and drew it downwards.

The hiss of metal hitting metal sounded, but then I heard a breaking sound and the sword cut through the chains. Taking a deep breath, I look at the arm that I'd freed. Smiling, I quickly repeat the process hacking through the other three chains.

He falls forward slightly, I reach an arm out and catch him. He laughs softly against my ear, before standing up slightly.

”Thank you, Alice, you're a lifesaver,” he says giving me a small smile.

My cheeks heat up and I quickly turn on my heels.

”No problem at all,” I mutter.
