19 Sense of Direction (1/2)
I wanted to punch a hole into the wall, this was the seventeenth dead end that I had walked into. It was beginning to seem impossible to find my way through the maze. When I had first entered it; it'd seen simple enough.
After walking for a good distance though, everything started to seems a bit strange. The walls seemed to move after I'd walked past them, paths had opened and closed without a sound. It was like I was the maze was alive.
In the pursuit of trying to find my way out, I ran into a couple of ghosts here and there, which was quite helpful. I wanted to complete the mastery of Apprentice Exorcist, I was so close to finishing it.
I kicked a rock, that had been lying on the ground. It flew through the air, with a great amount of force, where it smashed into the rock wall. Making a loud crash as it bore through the wall.
Looking at my foot and then at the wall, I felt a great deal of surprise. Had I gotten stronger? Biting my lip I turned my head away and walk towards where there wasn't a wall blocking my path.
”Note to self-don't kick rocks when mad.”
”Where am I suppose to go?” I yelled up at the sky, I found in my time here that there wasn't any ceiling atop this maze. It was an inky black sky that held many stars. Thousands of dots of light floated through the air making it feel like it was the day, although, the sky was still dark.
It was intriguing to see something like this, it was actually very beautiful. Although, I'd come to find that there wasn't anything that was simply beautiful here there was always hidden darkness.
Exiting out of the dead end, I take a sharp right and continue onward, it heads straight for a while and then there is a split in the road, left or right. I look both ways before deciding to head left.
Moving towards the left, I continue making my way forward. I'd twist my head looking around every so often, it felt like I was being watched while I was in the maze. It was like someone was peeping on me.
It made me feel slightly violated... it wasn't an enjoyable feeling in the least. Rather it was sinister... as if someone who hated me was watching me.
Twisting my neck, I glance behind me and find that there is a large shadow a little ways away. It had to be huge towering just over seven feet, it made me feel like a shrimp. I couldn't make out its features because it was so far away.
It let out a defending scream, once it realized that I had noticed it presnse. Not trying any longer, to conceal itself it starts running towards me. Its lumbering body was surprisingly quick, it covered the large distance between us in a couple of wide strides.
As it charged towards me, I noticed that it was a man, that had the head of a bull, his legs were also like a bull allowing him to charge forward with ease. His abdomen and arms were in the shape of a human and they were huge at least the size of my body each.
He sung his fist down towards aiming for my head, I pushed off the ground sending my body flying backward. His fist sprayed dirt and rocks everywhere.

A wedge appeared above his head, I felt a sense of dread at the two question marks. Normally, I found that if a monster had a name it would have a number or a grade if it was a grade it was your normal mob monsters. Generally, a number meant it was more powerful and had upgraded its skills.
This bad boy had two question marks that were red like blood, he was apparently way to strong for me to take on. Landing I push up dirt and dust skidding to a halt.
