8 Chapter 06: The Three Beginner Guilds (1/2)

Arriving at the front of the Guildhall there was a party that rushed in. It appeared they finished a big assignment and wanted to cash in as fast as possible. Their armor looked broken so I guessed they needed the money to fix their equipment or rather buy entirely new equipment.

They pulled out the magic crystals and the quest assignment papers exchanging it all for money.

The currency here looked like Copper, Silver and Gold but had another name; Cillies.

The currency system worked the same as one would expect with a normal copper, silver and gold system.

Meaning one gold piece would be a thousand silver pieces, as one silver piece would be a thousand copper pieces. The party happily rushed past me as they had collected their reward and devided it evenly amongst each other.

As I made my way towards the counter I noticed that Amaris was helping an Adventurer. As she helped the adventurer along I happily approached her to ask for her help. ”Morning Michael, hope Midnight let you get some well deserved rest last night? Knowing here during this time of the month it must have been rather intense.” Amaris turned away as she became bright red thinking of what might have happened.

I joked around a little while mixing in a bit of seriousness. ”It was rather intense, she was snoring so badly I couldn't catch any Z's.”

”Moaaahhh I know it was a full moon last night and what happens with Midnight during this time, don't worry about it. Most victims give in to her temptation.”

Then she turned back and put on a bright smile.

”What will it be today Michael, how can I help you?

”I was hoping you could show me around and help me find profession that suits my taste. Since this is the Village of Beginning I don't expect huge Guilds to exist here, but I might want to learn some basic fighting moves, basic magic or maybe even basic concealment techniques for rogue opportunities.”

”Ah, I see you are well informed already Michael.
