47 Chapter 43 ~ A New Game but the Same yet Differen (1/2)
All three of them are together now. Both Rakuri and Kurira came back to her life with a plan to restore their lives back to normal, and that is of course… through gaming.
They have purchased two consoles of their own, each costing no less than 10 million dollars each. Siola of course, not questioned where they got it from. If they don't talk about it, then there is no need for her to ask because she knows that both of them don't want to talk about it.
”Goodness, I can't believe you convinced that cunning old man.” said Siola.
Kurira went smug all of a sudden, ”Hehe, all thanks to Rakuri here.”
It is actually through shady tactics, finding all kinds of dirt about the Mithra family. Of course, both of them tried to be vague when it comes to explaining it to Siola. They don't want her to feel bad about her family, even if they are not in good terms with each other.
However, quite surprisingly, all of that dirt is not actually necessary since Hajaran was planning for them to stay all this time. He wants them to educate Siola even more than their planned schedule. This is an opportunity that comes rarely, so Rakuri took this chance and grasped all the profits she can get her hands on.
Which results in these two consoles.
Each of their consoles is being tied up to each other so that they can share their resources to decrease load time. Walking around them, ”Haa… this is so nostalgic. We used to do 24/7 in this thing. Years have gone by, I wonder what changed.” Said Kurira.
”Well, aside from the realism mode… nothing much really. Are we going in now?”
Shrugging as she says it, ”Yeah, sure. What are we waiting for?”
Shortly they went inside the capsule with a completely tense beating heart. Not knowing what to expect, they are afraid that it's not going to work out, yet at the same time, they're curious how it's going to play out.
As they went through the slope of the blue and gray, once they opened their eyes, they are seeing an image of a woman stood there in front of them.
”Oh ya? You bring your friends here with you?”
Siola's eyes quickly widened, ”Lady K???”
”Huh?” Rakuri looked around and noticed that instead of arriving at the Menu screen, they arrived at an empty white void which only filled with one desk and a large building. ”Dola, what is this? Where are we?”
”Err…”
Konig palmed her face.
After giving a stern scolding to Siola, she went to explain everything to her companions. Just like Siola, they quick to catch up. Unlike the rest, Rakuri is the closest in terms of knowledge when it comes to Konig since she used to worship her back in the day.
”…” Konig lifted her fingers and then snapped it.
*Bwooomph*
A portal quickly appeared along with two naked clones of their body. ”Inject yourself in there and go inside that portal, everything from that point onward will lead you to the… game you mentioned” pausing for a moment, ”Don't die too much, okay?”
*Pffft*
Kurira burst out to laughter, ”Bwahaha, dying, huh. I'd like to have a taste with that.”
”Don't talk like that, it's rude” said her pair, ”Please don't mind her, Lady K. She's always like this.” Konig didn't pay her any mind in the first place, but she's glad to know that Kurira isn't really meant to be rude. ”Have a safe journey then.”
The three of them nodded, and by using an Ancestral link created by Siola. They went inside the minds of their clones, and went inside the portal.
Once again, they flew through the slope of 101, reaching into the character creation menu. Oddly enough, they can see each other from there. Unlike before, they noticed that… there is no system girl around. There might be changes happening in the game so they don't assume too much.
”Ohh, this… is cool. So, which class you guys gonna do?” asked Kurira.
Rakuri pondered for a moment. Glancing left, ”Dola, which one are you taking?”
”…” holding her chin as she configures the appearance of her character. Nothing much has been changed, well, one can say that there is nothing of her appearance has changed. ”Maybe… Necromancer.”
Rakuri's brows tilted, ”A Pinnacle? Don't you think it's too risky?”
”Well, we haven't tried it out. I mean, if we played around with something we always do, isn't that boring?”
”We've been doing it for years, but you're right. What about you, Kurira?”
”…” many class that the menu offers piqued her interest. Back in the days, she used to play as a multiclass. Picking all kinds that can give her the most benefits while covering all of her weaknesses until she settled down on one thing, which is the Wizard class.
