41 Chapter 37 ~ Lost in Nowhere (1/2)
”There is absolutely nothing happen yesterday.” Nodding to herself, ”That's right, there is nothing happened at all.”
She kept repeating that sentence, convincing herself that her shameful decision is nothing but a mere illusion.
Right in front of her, there are a couple of workers that is installing a piece of machinery that is closely resembling her capsule.
'Yes, I found a credit card on the ground. So, I used it yesterday and ordered one of the virtual machines that can also play Ekolia!!'
'This thing cost me 8 million, but whatever, it's not me who's paying. A spiritual owner of this credit card is.'
'But anyway, with this thing, I won't be chilled again when I got out of the game. I'm not tech-savvy, but from what I heard, this thing includes some kind of system that would allow me to access all kinds of stores available in the world safely. It also includes a VPN inside. That feature was rare in my days, especially since the government banned most of them.'
The worker has finished the installment, and one of them went and gave Siola the instruction on how to use it, ”Here you go kid, make sure to give it to your parents later on, okay?”
Veins popped up on her cheek, she wants to retaliate and corrected him, but as she gritted her teeth, she calmed herself down. Snatching the documents away from him, she crossed her arms and wait for them to get out.
They left soon after with a sigh, muttering, ”Kids these days.”
She glared at them leaving and when they did...

She slammed the document's down, ”I'M NOT A FUCKING KIIIIIIIID!!”
Sadrin blinked her eyes a few times while giggling to herself.
”What, you think it's funny?”
Trying to hold her laughter, ”Fufu, indeed, young miss.”
”Ngrrr, you're fired!”
One would be angry and furious when they get fired out of nowhere, however, in this case. Sadrin remained calm, ”Yes, yes. It is the 18th time today you fired me. May I get my payments before I leave?”
Siola pointed her finger at her, ”You ungrateful swine— Nghf” she self-inflicted her own attack at herself, ”G-G-Get OOOoooOoooUuuUUUuuuut.”
After another chuckle, Sadrin bowed, ”If you need anything, you can—”
”I WON'T NEED YOU!!”
”...” bowing once more, Sadrin leaves right away, leaving behind a translucent cube on the table.
Heavily breathing in the air, Siola rolled around the bed full of shame and embarrassment. Muffled as she screamed, ”Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...!!”
After a while, she recovered herself.
Looking at the capsule, she pondered about it, ”Hmm…”
'What special about this capsule is that it's something that can be upgraded with attachments. I still don't need it right now, I think. Maybe I'll order one next time.'
'…'
”Ah well, no need to get sentimental now. I am finally can get in the game again, so let's do it.”
Touching its transparent lid, the capsule opened itself.
Siola's heart is beating fast like an engine of a car starts cranking up to 60. How many weeks has it been? The last time she remembers the world in the game is that she has has been transported to the outside world in the middle of nowhere. She vaguely remembers it by now, but the last scenery of the world there truly something she cannot forget, and it's still fresh in her mind.
She can't wait to play it again.
This time, without stripping her clothes down. She went inside the capsule right away. Looking left and right, the machinery and the system feels like she's inside a robot.
Many things to navigate, but the machine did it for her. All she needs to do... is ask what she wants to do. A slight breeze of air seeping through her body, she sighs a relief, ”Phew, all right. How do I do this… err, I want to play Ekolia.”

Thinking about it for a moment, she remembers that she's still having her credit card. Though she doesn't know how to confirm it by it, so she just holds it up in there.

”Goddamn it! Come on! I already have the permission!! Just buy it! It's a fucking 60$!”
”Shit, fine! Contact her!”
A long beeping sound was heard, Siola had to wait a couple of minutes before her mother picks up the call. Since she is a Cyber, it should not be so long, but for whatever reason, only just now, she picked it up.
”…” Siola was reluctant to answer, but she has no choice but to. Sighing, she nervously muttered, ”G-Grant me your permission.”
”Grr, just answer it already!!”
Siola's face redden to a lava, ”Old hag! Just give me your permission already. I want to play my game. Right now!”
'Ah, shit. I messed up.' Went panicked, Siola answered, ”Y-Yes, you see, this device can do plenty of things. And, and I want to play a game right now because I'm bored, so err…”
Sweats dripping from her cheek, it's as if years are passing by with each second her mother went into silence.
”Yes, yes. Goodbye”
Siola immediately cut the call.
Soon after she bought it, the machine quickly downloads the terabytes full of files into the device. It took only but a few minutes for it to be done. Without any delay, after the installment is done, Siola quickly opened it up and get into the game with a burst of laughter.
”Hahaha!!! YES! I'm here, I'm here, I'm here. It's coming, I'm back, BABY!!”
*Wooosh*
