34 Chapter 30 ~ Mithra (1/2)

After bidding their farewell, Siola and Linda head back into the car.
”…”
Which… Siola is puffing her cheeks, full of sweat. Her aunt is glaring at her like she's about to shoot blood from her eyes. Gritting her teeth, ”Just wait until we get home. I'll teach you about how to respect your elders, oh princess.”
Siola's sweats keep dripping rapidly. Linda went to gas up and drove the car in super-fast speed, her wrath can be seen from miles away.
The car went far away and been through several roads, the traffic is almost nonexistent here due to the invention of the road tunnel and the flying cars.
Looking outside the window, the scenery of the urban city calms her down, Siola that is. Her palm is sweating, not because of her aunt's punishment that is about to come, but the problem even greater than that. The Mithra Family, her family.
After a while of following the road led them to the far side of the island, they passed through multiple mounts, and the house where Siola used to live is already on sight.
'Haa… can't believe I see that cursed house again.'
The house is simply massive, it's like a castle with multiple layers on land needed to be passed through before reaching it.
'Just why would Aunt Linda brings me back here, I know I spent 100k of her money, but… was that all? I don't want to doubt her intent, I'm sure she has a reason for bringing me back there, but still…'
Sighing, 'I don't want to meet those shitheads again. I wonder if she really did tell the truth, that Rosa left the house, if so… it would be easier for me, but if she's still there. I don't know what I'm going to say to her.'
'My sister, Rosa. She used to be a really wonderful person, I look up to her so much. I don't understand why she would do all that to me. Every time I try to mediate things with her, she would be very aggressive to me. Saying that I'm just filth and a disgrace to the family. Since when did it go wrong? We used to walk hand in hand around the park with a smile on our face.”

Wiping the sweat on her forehead, 'What did I do wrong?'
”We're here, sweetie.”
Siola's eyes widened. Without warning, they are already passed through all those layers and arrived right in front of the main house.
*Bak*
Linda got out of the car and opened up the back-seat door, ”Let's go.”
”N-No, wait, no, I don't want to!”
Linda's brows tilted, she gritted her teeth and grabbed Siola's wrist, ”Come here you. Don't fight me too much!”
”N-No, NOO! HELP MEEE, I'M BEING KIDNAPPED!”
”Siola!” shouted Linda. She forcefully dragged Siola out of the car and hugged her like a doll, she tries to flail around and resist her, but it's all in vain.
*Fwoooomph*
The car drove itself out of the area and then they walked in.
They were greeted by several maids. The head maid is an old lady, she stepped forward and then bowed, ”Welcome home, young miss.”
Siola puffed her cheeks and turned away, ”Traitor.” it was years ago, but she still remembers the event where she asked the head maid to keep quiet about Siola leaving the house on her own, but she ignored it and told her parents about it.
The head maid knows it's futile to talk to her, thus, she can only sigh.
Linda put her down and asked the maid, ”Do they already know we're coming?”
”Yes, my lady. This way.”
Linda grabbed Siola's hand, ”Let's go.”
She only gazed at her and gave up, there is nothing she can do to avoid it, it's inevitable.
The maids follow behind them, and they enter a large hall. Going up on the stairs on the left the went to another large door and enters several hallways before arriving at their destination. They went inside, opening the door, they saw three people sitting comfortably on a sofa.
The two of them are her parents and the last one is her grandfather sitting alone in his mighty and comfy... chair. The maid went beside him and inform that the guest has come.
He put down his tea and shifted his piercing eyes to Siola, ”So you're back, I see.”
”…”
Her parents quickly turned their heads, ”Siola?”
'Welp, it looks like only grandpa knows it that I'm coming. Haa… I'm sure he was the one that brought father and mother into this too.' thought Siola.
She didn't notice it, but her mother has long shifted her attention to Linda, who is smirking and it's being directed at her. The dispute between Linda and Siola's mother is still unknown to Siola. Her mother gritted her teeth knowing there is nothing she can do.
Her grandfather gruntingly commanded, ”Sit.”
Linda grabbed Siola's shoulder and walked to their seat whilst glancing at the mother.
”What is the reason this time for you to bring her back, Lind?”
Linda has ”negotiated” several times trying to convince Siola's grandfather, to get Siola's back in the house. However, he refused all of her ”request”. With the atmosphere still heavy, Linda responded, ”Siola... she is just not ready to live on her own. The money I gave her… she's already spent them all on some useless toys.”
Siola felt offended, ”A-Auntie, they're not—”
”Silence,” said the grandfather.
The grunting voice of his father is like a thundering sound of a tier 11 spell to her. Siola quickly shut her mouth and locked them.
The grandfather looked back to Linda, and she then continues, ”Instead of making use of the money and start up a business or get a better house, she just spends all of them in that toy, and she even lied to me about it.”
Hearing all of that, Siola is so badly wanted to clear things up, but no one would believe her. Plus, her grandfather's stare is slowly killing her.
”Yuri never taught her to be independent, she's already 21 years old and she can't even cook properly for herself. We can't have her live alone out there, especially in that rotten place.”
Again, Siola wanted to correct her so badly. She knows how to cook, she knows how to make good meals and properly takes care of her body in the said rotten place, but again! Absolutely nobody would believe her.
Yuri, Siola's mother, said, ”We sent her there so that she can learn about it, and yet you… you give her money without our permission.”
”Heh, why do I need YOUR permission to take care MY own child.”
She gritted her teeth, Yuri stood up and yelled, ”She's not yours!” her eyes start getting red. 'Hm?' Siola saw it, 'Is she crying?'
The grandfather spoke, ”What Yuri said was true. At least, you could have told us first before sending the money. Giving as much as 100.000$ to someone out of nowhere, it's bound to get into their head…” glaring at the frightened Siola, ”But it is also true that it seems like she is not ready to live alone. The three of you spoiled her too much.”
Shifting his eyes to the father, ”Kikojei, what do you think?”
Kikojei glanced at Siola, and then sighed, ”Father, Siola is still young. Maybe it is true that we were too rash back then. Why don't we take her back to college and send her living in the dorm?”
