It's so embarrassing… that I cried like that.

Several minutes have passed, I have calmed down now.

Ludwig made some tea— coffee, he even made it with his own hand, he could've just used magic instead. I mean Avarice can do it with her Telekinesis (?), I'm sure he can as well.

”Here,” he said.

He put the coffee and some biscuits on the table along with some food.

I feel so bad right now, not only that I was so rude, I even talked nonsense… to him of all people. ”S-Sorry about that, I was—”

”You do not have to worry about it”

He said it to calm me down, but his voice brings shivers down my spine.

Sinking my teeth in the food he gave me; I don't know what it is. A scary piranha-like fish in between a loaf of bread, it's surprisingly good.

”Is it to your liking?” he asked.

My eyes glitter as I nodded repeatedly.

”Hrrm” Ludwig let out a groan of satisfaction, it seems that he's glad that I liked the food he gave me. He then said, ”I see that… one of your soul has… quite the history”

I nodded; I wish it was a pleasant one but alas. ”Your last word hit me hard, asking me why I killed you, that's stupid to ask someone like me,” I said.

”Then... do you not have a reason… of why you killed me?”

Shuddered, my heart aching when I tried to recall it.

”I don't. I just heard a rumor that there is some kind of… terrifyingly powerful being. So, I followed every guidance as closely as possible, then I sensed it…

”… I went to check out the place and there's you in there…”

”Did I attack you?”

Thinking calmly about it, he didn't, I feel like the genius me, is becoming more and more stupid.

I shook my head and said, ”My Companions and I just saw you with a Black Dragon, so we do what we always do… killing monsters”

”A Black Dragon, you say? Hmm, where exactly did you… encounter me?”

”Ahh…”

It feels like he put 2 and 2 together in an instant.

Suddenly, he summoned a book. A Black Book with a Silver Tree at its center, there is also a Symbol underneath and it says… Purgatory.

Putting down his book, he shifted his socket-less eyes back at me.

My expression hardened, I don't know about the former but I need some money, a lot of money. That's why I'm playing this game, but other than that…

There is none when it comes to this world, I just want to level up quickly and sell rare items to players, and get rich fast.

All of it in order to make money, but… if there is something I want to do, then yeah… I do have one thing. I look back at him with a pair of determined eyes, and said, ”I want to experience it… all of what this world offers”

Ludwig laid his back, pondering left and right. ”I see… then how about… you serve me. I cannot promise… that you will experience everything. However, you can experience the larger scale of what this world... offered”

I look at him in awe, if what he said it the truth— no, it must be and if it is, I wouldn't mind serving him… I'll put my faith in him.

Looking at him straight in the eye, I spoke, ”Alright… I will serve you… Ludwig”

He chuckled, I wonder if it's too cringy or what. Maybe something is funny… I don't understand.

Ludwig lifted his arm, opening his hand and directing them to my head.

Then a Magi Seal appeared on top of me, and suddenly... my vision went dark.

There is… an Image... it's the God and the Goddess, along with their army, they are fighting against the Dark Lords and the army of Demons.

Multiple Notification pop up at the side of my visions.

My eyes dilated as I see the last one, ”A Slave, huh”

Ludwig spoke in a grunting tone, ”Do you… regret it, Mortal?”
