34 Dinner Plans (1/2)

The rest of the weekdays passed quite uneventfully for Siana. She had successfully operated on her pre-listed patients and was now on her way back to her office. It was Friday evening and was time for her to go home.

'It's the weekend soon... Is he coming on Saturday or on Sunday? Can I still argue that it has been awhile since our chat?'

She was feeling both excited and scared about Cain's arrival, afterall, the one day they spent together taught her well what the guy was capable of.

'And he only had a short amount of time that day... how far will he go if he has the whole day? Am I not to pity? Oh I know! If anything: periods! But wait, seems like I actually confessed about my periods the other time when I was an emotional wreck. God! Why is this so troublesome!?'

With those jumbled thoughts she changed into her casual clothes and started heading to her condo, which was 10 minutes bicycle ride away.

Just as she entered her condo she received a message notification. She lazily picked the phone and started reading through the message. However, with each line she was getting more and more worried,

”How is my princess doing? I will be as direct with you as possible. Will wants to see you. So, he signed this agreement with this company in Ribekia and is on his way there. He was going to find ways to contact you so I tagged along in case you don't want to be alone with him or are feeling uncomfortable. We will arrive on Saturday morning, but I have wifi on the plane so don't hesitate to send me your reply.” - Alex

Sia actually felt bad about Will. She had hoped that they could become friends, but if that meant hurting him then it was better to come clean from the very beginning. Also, there was the question of the jealous boyfriend. He already had a lot to think about and take care of and adding another thing to make him worried was nothing but stupid.

Determining the best course of action, she quickly messaged two separate recipients:

”I am doing well and even better from the news I'll see my dear cousin again.

Thanks for doing this for me. I think I will need to talk to him directly so that he doesn't have any hopes or expectations of me anymore.

You guys are pretty famous so going out with you will be a hassle. I have to go to the hospital in the morning so you can come to mine for a dinner and then we can have a talk.

My address is xxxxx. Hope this works.” - Siana

”My dearest darling, I know you have your ways of stalking me but so that you know: Alex and Will are visiting me tomorrow for dinner. I will come clean to Will to avoid any future complications.” - Queenie

When Alex received his message he felt proud about Sia's maturity in this delicate matter. He sent a simple message saying:

”Okay, that's perfect. Will see you tomorrow” - Alex

”Tell him about us” - King

The man opposite Cain, who was observing all of Cain's reactions and movements, thought to himself,

'Seems like the Dragon can be much more scary than the rumours describe him to be. Look at his coldness and murderous aura and how quickly he is able to collect himself. He might actually be a better choice than the Lion.'

Cain was already back to his normal apathetic attitude, though he was the only one that knew what was happening inside of him. It was taking so much toll on him to concentrate on their topic as he could not afford to lose this potential supporter. However, he was completely unaware of the fact that Sia's message and his subsequent reaction became the decisive factor in winning over this man.
