”Before you answer him can you spare me a minute Skylar.”
Skylar and Jessie both turn to see Reign standing there, he seemed as if he felt guilty for interrupting yet at the same time he was firm in his decision.
”Not before she answers my question.” Jessie retorted.
”I want to also present my side of story before she answers. And it's up to Skylar to decide then what she wants to do. It's only fair,”
Jessie seemed to weigh Reigns words heavily and he turned to her, ”I will be waiting for you.”
When Jessie got out of sight Skylar focused at the problem at hand, which was currently Reign. Reign gave her a solemn look,
”Um, you were looking for me?”
”Where you going to say yes to Jessie?”
”Is that important right now?”
”Yes, to me it is.”
”I don't know.” She answered honestly, she needed time to think about it and Reign being here was going to make things go much simpler for her. She would use this time for her to get some clarity.
Reign took a deep breath, ”Well that is not what I came to talk to you about.”
”I know.”
”Go out with me instead.” Said Reign.
”Why would I do that?”
”Because I know you like me as much as I like you.” Said Reign.
”I'm not so sure that I even like you one bit.”
Reign's face fell and he recovered quickly, smiling slightly ”Why don't I believe a word that you say.”
”Well you should with the way that you treated me theses last couple of days. When we get into a relationship, you would be much worse than this. The heartache I foresee is so great.”
”I wouldn't hurt you.”
”Karly. Is also another part.”
”What about her?”
”You were dating her when you saw me and what if you leave me for someone else.”
”Karly and I weren't an item, she just put a claim on me and went with it.”
”And you have a reputation of being a bad boy, you even kissed me whilst you were with Karly.”
”If I liked you, I wouldn't have talked about the kiss, I would have just forgotten about it. Do you regret the kiss?”
