6 Remedy (1/2)

Xue Huan had no choice but to carry Shi Mei.

”Xue Huan, let me carry the lady. You are not still in good condition.”Gong Yan said as he stretched his arm.

”I'm fine now.” everyone looked at each other as they followed Xue Huan.

The little boy was left on the yard as his eyes followed Shi Me's hair. But he started to walk also towards the entrance of the residence. When he reached the room, he approached Chen Wei.

”Is she a queen?”

”Who?”Chen Wei asked. The little boy pointed out Shi Mei lying on the bed now.

”Boy, she is far from a queen.”Chen Wei answered while laughing. ”How could she be a queen. Maybe if she daydreams about it.”

The little boy stared at Shi Mei again and recalled his dream.

”Then she is not her. In my dream, what I saw was a lady wearing a crown.”

”What did you say?” the little boy shook his head then he walked towards the bed to look closely at Shi Mei.

Wen Zexi was now wrapping a bandage around the arm of Shi Mei with his careful hands.

”How could she do that to herself.” the servant uttered as he let out a deep sigh.

”Well, what could be the reason. Of course, she's desperate.”Chen Wei said but he was exasperated when he didn't hear any response. Everyone was observing Shi Mei who was now sleeping soundly.

”But her sudden appearance was perfect timing with Xue Huan's condition now.” everyone in the room darted their eyes at Chen Wei.

”What? Did I say something wrong again? I'm only saying that what a coincidence.” the room was quiet and everyone remained focus at Chen Wei.

”Hey, I wasn't ill-talking about her. I mean, maybe it was not bad to have her here. I admit that whenever she's near, Xue Huan's heart would ease at once.”Chen Wei looked at everyone with his sulky expression.

”You mean, she's the remedy of Xue Huan's condition now?”Wen Zexi said as he was not also sure about the condition of Xue Huan. He didn't feel any sign of malfunction in Xue Han's body even the pulse only the beat of the heart.

”Isn't that what you also thinking about her?”Chen Wei asked and everyone shook their head. Then did he just give a reason to keep the annoying lady alive?!

”Wait, I mean it could not be really the reason. It was only a coincidence-”

”No, you're right. it's possible.”Wen Zexi said, acknowledging it even more.

”Hey Xue Huan, are you also convinced? Come on, you know that I'm only speaking rubbish things.”Chen Wei uttered tautly and Xue Huan nodded his head. Chen Wei had a goofy grin when he looked at Wen Zexi without knowing that he's already defaming himself.

”Then how about trying it?”Wen Zexi said with his determined voice. He was hoping that Shi Mei was the cure of Xue Huan. If not, he must read hundreds of books to find out about the condition of Xue Huan.

While Gong Yan only watched his friends, debating about the lady.

”Fine, let's give it a try. Don't worry Xue Huan, the lady has nothing to do with your condition. After all, she's only an assassin.”Chen Wei encouraged Xue Huan. While Gong Yan straightened his sword and he slightly knocked on Chen Wei's head.

”How could you say that she's an assassin? And as a matter of fact, she saved Xue Huan.”Wen Zexi remarked. Xue Huan put his palm on his forehead as he stared at Shi Mei.
