132 Obsessed with Guil (1/2)

After Jiang Xiao Liang left, Yang Yun stayed in the woods until the sun almost set. When he returned to Yang's residence, Yang Yun jumped on the roof to avoid the others and clear his mind.

Some of the things that Jiang Xiao Liang had said to him in the woods, it's not like he had not heard them before. Months ago, General Jiang Xiao Xian had said almost the same thing. However, when the General announced that he was relieved off his duty until further notice, he was upset. He was angry. He lost the person he loved most and his job. In the end, he did not put what the General had said to him in mind.

This time, Jiang Xiao Liang's words lingered in his mind and heart. It was probably because Xiao Liang beat him so hard that he could still feel the pain all over his body.

When Mingyue disappeared, Yang Yun thought that everyone would blame him. However, no one said anything. Even though Princess Lingchen was mad that he did not stay to look for Mingyue, in the end, the Princess did not blame him for losing Mingyue. This only made Yang Yun hated himself.

Yang Yun snapped out of his thought and sat up when he heard his mother's voice. His mother, Liu Qing Xin, was instructing the servant to some task, watching as his mother made Yang Yun's heart ached. His mother had worked hard to raise him and his sister, Yang An.

Months ago, when he encountered the criminal in the woods, Yang Yun had decided to pursue the criminal alone. He missed his wife, Mingyue so much that he thought it would be good if he were injured in the mission and died.

Back then, he felt that perhaps he would be with Mingyue in the afterlife. Yang Yun did not give his mother and sister any thought. He didn't think of what will happen to them if he were gone. He was selfish.

Yang Yun knew that he was in the wrong. He shouldn't think the way he did. If his mother knew what was in his mind the moment he decided to go for the criminal, his mother would be sad and disappointed.

However, Yang Yun was haunted by the moment where Mingyue's hand slipped away from his hand. He failed to stop Mingyue from vanishing, and he had become obsessed with the guilt.

Jiang Xiao Liang's words made him realized that he was not the only one who blamed himself for Mingyue's disappearance. For a while, Yang Yun was glad that Jiang Xiao Liang had beaten him back in the woods. It was the first time that Xiao Liang defeated yang Yun, and that boy did not even hold back his kicks and punches.

Yang Yun felt that he needed to get hit. At least Jiang Xiao Liang had released his anger and lessen the self-blame in him. The pain made him feel awake. He has to stop the way he thinks, or else, he might fall deeper into the pit and never get out of it.

Jiang Xiao Tian entered the Princess' palace once he got the information on Prince Lu Wei's departure. Once he reported the news to Princess Lingchen, Jiang Xiao Tian stayed quietly at the side and waited for the princess' further instruction.
