Chapter 35 - This Works? (1/2)

“It seems like the BUG isn’t that big huh!”

Meng Fan gave up trying to give himself likes after his thumbs up didn’t work. The system was stupid, but not this stupid. This fact, Meng Fan could still accept.

After his phone was charged, Meng Fan wasn’t in the mood to continue drawing. He looked around to make sure nobody was looking at him, then secretly, gave a thumbs up to the girl in front of him.

Nothing!

This baffled Meng Fan. Was the previous time just an illusion?

It shouldn’t just be useful for administrators, right?

Or, was it because the other party didn’t see his thumbs up, so the system didn’t establish it as progress?

Praise them to their faces and talk trash behind their backs, is this how the system interprets people getting along?

To confirm his guess, Meng fan thought about it, then stood up and strolled over, pretending to be taking a break from extended drawing. As he neared the girl, he peeked at her drawing, then stepped in front of her and gave her a thumbs-up within her sights. “Nice drawing!”

Although the girl was surprised, she was happy to hear the praise of her artwork. She lifted her head and smiled at Meng Fan. “Thank…”

Before she finished, her face sunk.

Eh.

Meng Fan blanked out for a second as well.

Wasn’t this the same freckle-faced girl he’d encountered in the library while completing his [A Good Person] task? Petite and cute, they had reached for a book at the same time. His memory of her was still clear in his head.

Meng Fan saw the fear in the girls’ eyes. She didn’t think he was a stalker right? That would be awkward!

It seems he should refrain from disturbing others in the studio, god knows who he will disrupt!

“Yes, especially this color, it’s got so much depth!”

What could he do at this point, except pretend like he didn’t know her? He boasted a sentence and give another thumbs up.

He confirmed, both events counted as progress.

It seems like the praise had to be seen by the other party to count.

He sped up on the way back to his seat, sat down obediently, then began to draw. He was still absentminded, plus the girl in front kept turning to look at him, her eyes were worried.

Fine.

If he wasn’t in the mood to draw, he shouldn’t make it hard for the girl to draw as well.

It was time to go.

Meng Fan looked at his phone. Although there was only an uncomfortable 20% battery left, it was enough not to shut down. He collected his stuff, returning the charger to the admin, passing out a few thumbs-ups along the way.

“Leaving early today?”

The administrator felt strange, as she watched Meng Fan’s hefty body leave, her attention shifted to the petite girl with freckles.

Just now she’d seen Meng Fan talking to the girl, and suddenly felt the desire for gossip burning inside her stomach.

Do all chubby boys like cute petite girls?

Interesting!

It was only 8:30, but there were still a lot of people coming in and going out of the campus. Despite the increasing temperature, students still had to attend class.

Class could be skipped once, but not forever.

“Good morning!”

Meng Fan, carrying his picture tube had just left the classroom when he greeted a fellow male student, not forgetting to give him a thumbs up.

To Meng Fan, it didn’t matter what they responded, even if they didn’t talk, as he just needed them to see his thumbs up.

“… Morning.”

Obviously, this was a student who had been forced to wake up, bedhead still in place, expression blank. Even as Meng Fan walked over, he couldn’t tell who it was.

Did he know him?

I don’t recall knowing someone this fat!

Also what’s wrong with his hand, did he pull a muscle?

“You’re in a good mood today!”

“Your hair looks really good!”

“That lipstick shade matches you!”

“That dress is so fresh!”

“Your legs must be 1.2 meters long!

“Why are you so arrogant, isn’t it just because you’re good looking?”

“Your pear-shaped figure is really nice, kind of like someone famous. No, two. From the left it’s Li Zi, from the right it’s Jia Ling.

“Your mole is so chic… Can it come off… Like a Sesame! Sorry, sorry!”
