Chapter 65 - President Dus Birthday Party (18) (2/2)

He wanted to keep her waiting for him.

He flicked the reddened bud with his tongue while he kept his gaze on her.

"Nnnnn... " Kai Xin moaned and clutched tighter onto the satin bedsheet. She tried to push him away with her feet as she muttered, "DX..No...I'm dirty..."

DX caught her legs and held them in place as he ignored her words. He hated it when she said stuff like that.

To prove her wrong, he licked it again and when he felt her thighs tensing from his tease, he used two of his fingers to part her folds and suck on the little nub until she cried out. When she squirmed, he kept going until he felt the sweet juice that was flowing out of her. As he licked her clean, with ragged breath, she sat up and whispered, "D-DX..."

He lifted his head and looked at her. When she noticed his wet lips that were glistening from her, she quivered and felt the urgent need to return the favor. Before she can say anything, he looked at her with a loving softened gaze and said,

"Kara, I love you."

Being caught off guard, Kai Xin was speechless. Her mind was hazy from the pill and she could not think of anything to say.

DX wiped his mouth before climbing onto her. As he sat astride her, he kissed her on the lips lightly. Then he gently pushed her hair back from her sweaty face as he said softly,

"I know you don't feel the same way yet and I don't need you to say it back to me, but I just want to tell you how much you meant to me. I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you today. I'm sorry that I was late...,"

He gave her another light kiss before continuing, "...but I want you to know that I will always, ALWAYS, love you..."

When he leaned down and gave her a deeper, more meaningful kiss, she thought that was the end of it but he pulled away slightly before saying seriously, "...No matter what happened."

It might be the pills, or because of what happened earlier, but when she heard his words, Kai Xin's eyes started to tear up.

She placed her arm over her eyes to stop him from seeing her in a vulnerable state as she begged him not to say anything else.

"Don't be so nice to me. I'm not worth it."

Slightly angered at the way she was putting herself down, DX pulled her arm down and told her seriously, "You are worth it. I'm the one who is unworthy of you."

Kai Xin turned away from him, "You don't understand..."

"Then tell me."

She shook her head and buried her face in his chest, "I'm not ready yet. I can't bear it. I can't bear it if you look at me like I am a monster!"

He held her tight for a while. He did not understand why she felt that way. Based on her nightmares that he had seen, he guessed something really horrible must have happened to her previously.

Han Ye was unable to find anything on her. He knew that Callum had been researching on her background behind his back but he was fine with it since he knew that Callum's stalking ability was worse than his assistant.

DX glanced at the tear-stained face of his lover. He sighed and kissed her again and again and again.

He kissed with his tongue, on her lips, on her neck, on her breasts and ran his hands all over her body to take her mind off the topic and for her to forget what had happened today.

Even if it was only to relieve her pain, he wanted to provide her with a better memory tonight.

...and even though he wanted to know everything that was bothering her and all of her fear, he was willing to wait for her to find the strength she needed.
