150 Zero to One Hundred Real Quick (1/2)
Zoey woke up on the bed with a blanket that was tacked her in, a glass of water on her bedside and a piece of sweet lullaby music playing across the room. After she lost her consciousness behind the door while shouting Michael's name, she doesn't remember anything anymore.
She checked herself under the sheet only to found out that it is not a new set of clothes that embraces her body. She timidly cries by herself when the door slowly opens.
”Zoey?” An old lady said as she slowly enters the room with a tray of porridge and a glass of hot cocoa. Zoey skeptically looked at the lady who walks slowly towards her. Never in her wildest imagination that Granny C will tolerate the craziness of her grandson.
”Hello, there to my favorite granddaughter in law.” Granny C smiled wildly to the girl lying on the bed. ”You knew this Granny? Zoey asked with mixed emotions.
Should she be happy that she wasn't completely alone with Michael and that she might help her escape or whether to be happy that maybe, but please, Granny C attended her needs from the start and not Michael?
”I know your hungry Zoey girl, here eat your porridge. I made it myself. Michael will be here any minute now.” Granny C neglected Zoey's question of whether she knew all of this or not.
Michael is Granny C's favorite grandchild. She knew that he was just young and immature when he lost the love of his life when he cheated with her best friend. Zoey is also her favorite relative-in-law that is why she helped her grandson execute this abduction to make her realize that Michael is really the man for her.
Michael keeps his contact with his grandmother ever since he moved out of his paternal home. For him, it is always his granny that has his back from the beginning so he promised that he would never keep a secret from her.
Indeed her favorite grandson, because Granny C planned everything to make this young couple be together again.
Despite all the years that had passed, Granny reconnect with Zoey's grandmother to have an insight of all Zoey's activity since they started planning this abduction. Zoey's grandmother is oblivious of all her granddaughter's hardship under the Cortez lad.
Even though this information was all useless because what would a grandmother with dementia knows about her child's well being.
”Zoey considers this as a recreational vacation for you and Michael. You, young people, need to have time together to rebuild your love from one other.” Granny C said as she set the table for Zoey.
'Craziness is real in their blood. Eh?'
”Don't worry. I would let anything happen to both of you.” Granny C assured her that no one would ever find them.
