The meeting was adjourned after everything else was already been settled. The first summer outing of ASC will be held this weekend. Although this event will be announced in short notice, the HR department promised that it would still be planned thoroughly for everyone's enjoyment.
But Nickel could return to their office because after his meeting with the HR Department's officer in charges other head employees lined up outside the confidence room. Due to his one-week hiatus, concerns from other departments.
Nickel's ears were already bleeding from all the reports, problems, concerns, and many more of this department. Why don't they be like the accounting department? Anyway, why is Zoey never asked for his opinion or tried to report their department evaluation to him?
”… And that is where my report ends.” The IT department said. It is the last department for him to meet with for today. His mind is already clouded from all the information he gathered so he nonchalantly nods his head as of he really understands everything they have said.
”Please email me your report and department evaluation.” He replied before pinching his glabella. He was just recovering from his sickness. And as what he have thought that if he pressured or forced himself to act normal probably he will be sick again.
He returned to his office and sees Zoey discussing something to one of her staff employees.
”Gerard, please reconcile this data and send it to before three o'clock. Also, do you know how to use Macro VBA?” she asked.
”Yes, Ma'am. I do know using Macro VBA. Do you want help with it?”
”Central Accounting is planning to automatize accounting process. I remembered that during my college days that we have learned how to use it but due to my rusty memory lane. I cannot recall everything that I have learned.”
Nickel sat on his chair quietly that makes the two inside the room oblivious of his arrival. He pretentiously opened one file in his desk and act as if he was reading but he was actually eavesdropping to them.
'I saw that email last week. I think it that project will only affect the accounting department as they are the only ones who are using excel more than how they spend the time to their family.' He said to himself. He was paying attention to their conversation.
After the two finished talking, Gerard turned around and got surprised seeing the Director in his desk without his acknowledging his presence. ”Good afternoon Director. I'm sorry I didn't see you arrived.” Gerard apologized to the head of ASC.
”It's okay.” He easily dismissed him and not going to make deal with it. It was just a minor mishap to him. When Gerard was about to go, he noticed that the director was holding the document upside down. He was already battling whether address it to his boss or not. Anyway, he chooses the latter and let him figured that thing instead of embarrassing him to his manager.
It is given that Nickel is an honorable personality in ASC. Everyone respects and follows him but all the male population in ASC envy and jealous about him because every girl in ASC admired him so much. Even though he has no interaction to any female except the mangers of accounting and HR departments. He was a real invisible to other ladies working in ASC.
Gerard was secretly avenging the male race in ASC to let him be embarrassed in others will found out that he was a fool in reading a file upside down.
