”Nothing. I suddenly remembered one report that I should send Monday morning. That's all.” Zoey made another excuse to save herself.

”In my opinion, if your friend already likes the guy. Don't let her wear her heart on her sleeves. Tell her not to be obvious that his way is really paving its way to her heart. Let him love her first not the other way around.” Said by the inexperience Sweet to Zoey's imaginary friend's love quest.

”Wow! Really? Coming from you? Hahahaha! Anyway, Sweet is right. It will be a precaution in case that guy we are talking about is just playing around. What if he is an expert playboy? Doing what sweet said that let the guy love your friend first will have her from future heart loss.” Lisa second the motioned Sweet's opinion.

”Dumb bitch! Heartache, not heart loss!” Shane corrected. Lisa would be a perfect woman for any bachelor. Perfect body, beautiful face but she also lacks vocabulary. She usually chooses the wrong words to explain her felling or her side.

”Whatever! It's still the same.”

The four of them parted ways. Zoey went to a clinic to check herself out in case of the bruise in her back will have a harmful effect on her body. She has to be careful because, since a kid, she was diagnosed to have a Thoracic Scoliosis. Even though her scoliosis won't affect her life, she still needs to be careful with her own sake.

The check-up finished after 10 minutes and the doctor didn't say anything bad. Just like what Nickel messaged her earlier that day, her bruise will heal on its own.

Zoey hailed a cab and went home.

Nickel couldn't sleep a wink after what had happened. He just realized it was already morning when he was dazzled by the sun. Nickel was still thinking about how would Zoey react or deal with him after that kiss.

'Zoey should take responsibility from taking his first kiss.' He said to himself. Much as he was really saving it to her but that circumstance was still too sudden for them. In aid to wipe away his rival, he needs to give it to her without prior notice which will because of an awkward reason for them.

'Wait! If I also have this kind of mindset, I'm nothing different with that cockroach Cortez. I think I should say sorry to Zoey, so she will not become too distant with me.'

Nickel went out to his room and knocked on Zoey's but after his few tries there was still no one answering him except Happy's barks.

Howbeit he knew Zoey's passcode it will be inappropriate for him to intrude her house without her permission. He kept knocking until fist turns numb.

Nickel retreat into his house and tried to use his phone, but he immediately dismissed it because he thought it would be too clingy for him to give her a call.

And because of that, he was left with nothing but to wait for Monday to come.
