It has been a month since Michael keeps on bugging his boss to allocate his job and place in ASC headquarters. Being the direct representative of Orb, he must be within reach of ASC.
”Sir have you seen my proposal? It will be advisable for me to be in ASC headquarters so that we can accommodate their needs as the local collaborator in the Philippines.”
”Let us not make them feel that after gaining too much exposure from the mass after we became their collaborator, we will abandon them. It will be bad impression for us, if that will happen.”
Michael used all his reasonable reasoning to convince his supervisor to approve his proposal. He really wanted to be relocated in ASC headquarters. Do we still need to tell you why??
His supervisor start contemplating his points. Of course ASC is a big fish to let go and letting them feel used is a big no-no. Being a big fish means being a giver of opportunities. Just attach your name alongside ASC will shower you tons of offers and deals. So why would he let them feel to be unwanted.
”Do you really think ASC feel that way?” He asked.
”Probably! One of ASC head officer is my very close and dear to me. She once mentioned it to me the last time we talk.”
The supervisor panicked after what Michael had mention.
In a swift move, he sign Michael l's relocation proposal and passed it to him.
”Starting tomorrow give your pending projects to your reliever and start moving your station to ASC. I will give them a call right now.”
He returned to his office and start sorting his pending projects. He was busy filing up his paper when he thought to send a message to someone.
To: ZF
Message: Z looks like we gonna be seeing each other everyday starting tomorrow. Hope to share meals with you then. See you soon my love.
He was grinning from ear to ear when his assistant opened the door.
”Sir Fuentes, will I also be accompanying you to ASC headquarters?” Lira is the most ambitious secretary / assistant in Orb. Perhaps we can say that birds with the same feather can make a good feather duster. Michael and her team up was very lethal and danger in the entire Orb Corporation. No one every beat them since the day this team was formed.
”Not for now Lira, stay here and be my eye against the other prominent managers that might steal our position.”
”Yes sir. Sir do you want me to help you?” Lira asked her boss. She thought that being a filial assistant to Mr. Fuentes will lead her to a greater opportunities, so she maintains her filial attitude to him and make him feel that she was loyal. She knew that leeching to his position will be a great advantage against the other assistants in Orb.
”Just sort the pending projects and give it to my assign reliever.”
Lira nods the start the task given to her. Will full pride and arrogance. She entered the secretary office and began commanding the other secretaries inside.
”Molly! Come here!” A rookie secretary approached her. ”Segregate all Mr. Fuentes pending projects and give it to his reliever's assistant. Do it within 2 hours.” She moved her chair on the side and took the mono block under her desk and looked at Molly as if she was saying to sit down bitch.
”Angela! Come here!” A shaking girl appeared in her side. Angela is just an intern in Orb. Under Lira's supervision, her On The Job Training turned to be a living hell. Since the day she started her internship, the only task given to her was to wash her dishes, buy her coffee, etc. All in all she was considered as a maid. Of course being an intern, she cannot voice out her angst as Lira was the one gibing her ratings. If she made her mad, she might give her a five in her OJT card.
