After Zhong Yue killed Che Bifu, he went straight for Gu Suiqiu while Gu Suiqiu’s heart suddenly skipped a beat upon feeling Zhong Yue’s incoming assault.

He was already severely wounded by Imperial Emperor Tai Feng and Imperial Emperor Jiao Teng. These two Imperial Emperors were formidable opponents, each wielding a monarch weapon. Thus, his defeat was almost certain. To worsen the situation even more, Zhong Yue’s sudden intervention in the battle had sliced his legs away with the Seven Paths Reincarnation.

Gu Suiqiu shrieked in fear and pain, he wanted to recover his legs, but the two Imperial Emperors slammed their monarch weapons down and disintegrated him into smithereens before he could do so.

“My children, come and feast on the Ba Gu Army with me!” Imperial Emperor Jiao Teng shook her body and countless worm eggs were showered into the battlefield. The eggs hatched into insect gods and swarmed at the Ba Gu Army.

On the other hand, Xiang Zuoyu commanded the Si Xiang Army and controlled the giant beasts. While he was engaged in battle with Duo Yin and Fu Ya, he sensed the death of Bai Fengqi, Gu Suiqiu and the rest. He was shocked and quickly revealed his true form of a Si Xiang, a humongous beast with a white body, four elephant heads, and ten legs.

The humongous beast was a few times larger than the rest. As he turned into his true form, the giant beasts around him flew up and landed on his body while he strode out forward at an unstoppable pace. Even Imperial Emperor Duo Yin was unable to stop him and was sent flying backward.

Xiang Zuoyu was unstoppable in leaving, even Imperial Emperor Fu Ya was pushed back with blood coughing out of his mouth trying to stop Xiang Zuoyu.

It was at this moment that seven light wheels emerged in front of Xiang Zuoyu and turned into seven starry rivers. Bi An had arrived and stood on his path.

Xiang Zuoyu looked to the front and saw Ling Zheng morphing into a giant even bigger than him. He was shocked and quickly turned to another direction.

The Juling Clan had always been known for its peerless achievements in the art of the mortal body. Even though he was a descendant to the monster monarch and exceptional in the art of mortal body, he still didn’t dare to compete with a Juling Imperial Emperor’s mortal body.

“Xiang Zuoyu, do you know who I am?” The innate demon dragon soared toward him while shouting, “Let me tell you, there’s even a poem about me…”

Xiang Zuoyu’s heart thumped heavily to see the innate demon god and quickly changed to another direction only to find a celestial lady with the leopard rosettes on her skin obstructing his path.

Then, he quickly dived downward but was stopped by Yi Tianjun.

Xiang Zuoyu shuddered in fear. He glanced around and saw Imperial Emperor Jiao Teng, Tai Feng, Long Zhi, Fu Li, Yin Fukang, Jiang Yiqi, and the others rushing to the scene. His face turned pallid like snow and he knelt down with his ten legs and lowered his four heads, he said, “King Yi, spare us! We’ll surrender!”

Zhong Yue was surprised, he smiled, “You are the son of the monster monarch, your father is Heavenly Monarch Tian Yuan’s mount. You have high prestige in the Heaven Court, and yet, you are still willing to surrender to me?”

Xiang Zuoyu said, “My father is dead and I am the Monster Sovereign of the monster race. My surrender will mean the surrender of all monsters in Zi Wei Galaxy. Please, King Yi, spare my life as I am useful to you.”

Zhong Yue nodded, he summoned Old Man Xuan and Qi and said, “Please, elder brothers, forge four nose rings and bind on his noses to prevent his betrayal. His Si Xiang Army will be disbanded into two. Half of them will be distributed to the armies and the other half will still remain under his control.”

Old Man Xuan and Qi nodded.

Then, Zhong Yue said gently, “Imperial Emperor Xiang. Since you and Bai Fengqi and the rest are comrades, you will be tasked with convincing their armies to give in. I wish not to slaughter them all.”

Xiang Zuoyu was left with no choice, he headed to the three armies and said loudly, “The merciful King Yi will spare those who surrender and kill those who refuse to give in! What difference does it make serving a new lord? It’s now time to pick the right side! Our cultivations did not come easily, a lord certain to be defeated is not worth dying for! The Heavenly Monarch has outstayed his time, Xian Tian Palace is now the rightful ruler, it’s time we take part in shaping our own future and earn our merits in the new empire!”

As the commander of an army had personally come forward to persuade the gods to surrender, many of them laid down their arms and knelt to surrender.

When Xiang Zuoyu saw there were still some obstinate soldiers that didn’t surrender, he raised his voice and laughed, “What are you hesitating about? Even I, as a commander, has surrendered. All the blames and curses will only be directed to me, I am the one who will bear it all, no one will give their attention to your surrenders.”

Then, many of Heaven Court’s generals and soldiers sighed quietly, they lowered their weapons and knelt on the ground with the others.

Whereas for the remaining few Heaven Court loyalists, they remained unflinching over Xiang Zuoyu’s persuasion. Then, Zhong Yue gave the order to exterminate those who had refused to surrender while those who surrendered were ordered to present their soul to him and left their brandings in the Six Paths Reincarnation of the Heavens before they were arranged into different armies.

By doing so, if they betrayed Zhong Yue in the future, their souls would return to the Heavens’ Six Paths Reincarnation after their deaths. There, they would be tortured painfully inside of the Heavens.

It was cruel but necessary to prevent them from fakingly surrendering.

Mu Xiantian used the same way to control Zhong Yue’s Xian Tian Royal Guards.

“My lord, the days-long pursuit and battle and lack of rest have exhausted the warriors. It is unwise to resume the battle now.” Fu Qizhi stepped forth, he bowed and reported, “Pushing further will only cause more casualties.”

Zhong Yue glanced over the other commanders and generals, and they nodded back at him.
