Xie Yang, Feng Yuhuan, and Shen Xiage were startled. They had heard of many other ways of making an oath. One of the most common ones was to vow to Heaven, but it didn’t always work as Heaven had no eyes and no ears. It couldn’t pick up the oaths.

Then, there was the Void Contract where one vowed on their soul and spirit. Failure to keep the vow would stop one from not being able to enter the Void World.

Other than that, there were also the vows to the Daos. In this particular case, one’s Daos would be used to form into seals in their body, breaking the vow would trigger the Dao seals and totally destroy their cultivations from within, including their Dao hearts.

However, Zhong Yue’s request of them vowing to his skill, it was the strangest way of making an oath they have ever heard in their entire life.

Shen Xiage answered, “Which is why there must be something else going on in it. King Yi is intelligent, wise and cunning. The simpler this sounds, the more dangerous it actually is! Once we’ve made the vow, we’d have fallen into your trap!”

Zhong Yue laughed happily, “Is that refusal then?”

Xie Yang said coldly, “There’s another way, we can force King Yi to do as we desire. I have a way to control his Yuan Shen and force him to lower his head to our own terms.”

Zhong Yue sneered coldly, “I don’t even fear death, do you think I am afraid of you controlling my Yuan Shen? Furthermore, can you actually do it?”

Suddenly, he cast out the Great Six Paths Reincarnation and included the trio in it. The trio looked up at his stalwart Yuan Shen equivalent to a Ghost Monarch and their faces changed drastically.

Feng Yuhuan gently fanned the Heaven Phoenix Divine Fire Fan and the Great Six Paths Reincarnation crumbled, returning them back to reality.

“King Yi sure is amazing. Your Yuan Shen is even stronger than ours.” Rays flashed in Feng Yuhuan’s eyes, she chortled, “Then, I will make the vow to King Yi. Senior Martial Brother Xie Yang, Senior Martial Brother Xiage, what do you say?”

Shen Xiage hesitated for moments before answering unwillingly, “Fine, I will make the vow. Once we’ve escaped, I will let him go on his own. Senior Martial Brother Xie Yang, what about you?”

Xie Yang smirked, “You’ve both decided to do it and if I don’t follow suit, wouldn’t that leave me stuck here alone?”

Zhong Yue softly raised his hand and the Daos surged out from the Space Bottle into his hand. The 14th Drawings of Heavenly Daos, Tian Yin, was formed into a seal. He smiled, “Senior martial brothers and sister, please make your vow to this skill of mine!”

Feng Yuhuan, Xie Yang, and Shen Xiage exchanged a look and saw the same perplexity in their eyes toward the skill Zhong Yue has just cast. Although it was extremely exquisite and powerful, it still wasn’t a threat at all to peak Imperial Emperors like themselves.

However, it still made them feel uneasy to vow to the skill.

He slammed it down into the universe inside of the Space Bottle, causing a piece of blank space to crumble. It was truly powerful, no weaker than Zhong Yue’s [Dao Crusher]!

The trio exchanged a look and mulled. Indeed, it was strong, but that’s really just it. It would only make them feel pain upon taking the skill, but the threat it posed to them was really nothing major.

Then, the trio made the vow toward the seal. If they escaped from the Space Bottle, they would not attack Zhong Yue anymore. Else, they would be killed by Zhong Yue’s [Tian Yin].

When the vow was made, they felt a slight surge of their Yuan Shen flying out of their body. They turned into a strange pattern and merged with the strange seal in Zhong Yue’s hand.

Immediately, their faces changed slightly. They were only making the vow for the sake of leaving, but they didn’t expect anomalies to occur following the vows!
