Chapter 1115 - Dao, Toad (1/2)
Chapter 1115: Dao, Toad
Back then, they were still young and innocent, the sweetness of their first love, the heartbeating of youth and joy, each time Zhong Yue recalled of the lovely memory of that time and couldn’t help but smile from the bottom of his heart.
But those times were fleeting. As they both grew, the responsibility and burden he had to bear grew too.
The young boy was thus left with no choice, and he had to put his life on the line. He had to risk everything he had, not knowing when he would die and clueless about what would happen in the future. He did not dare to give the young lady a promise.
The only thing he guaranteed to her was his eternal loyalty.
Yet, even with such an absurd promise, the young lady followed him regardless, leaving the place that gave birth to her, the Ancestral Star, separating from her family to enter hell with him.
Even more than that, the young lady even asked to be turned into one of the Huaxu Clan, whose lower body was a serpent tail, sinking herself into worries, fearing that her new appearance would put Zhong Yue off.
In terms of relationship, the relationship between them was the strongest and at the same time, purest.
The young man and young lady sat with each other and shared their stories, adventures and knowledge. Both enjoyed the peaceful time together. Qiu Jin’er was the only one that could ease his uneasy heart, whenever he was with her, he would be able to temporarily cast aside his problems, he could always find his peace.
Their arms crossed, her head on his shoulder, his arm around her waist, they both talked happily and their souls twined with each other, pulling them closer in mind.
As much as Zhong Yue wanted this moment to last forever, all good things came to an end; when Zhong Yue achieved the Innate Kun Earth Dao, it was his time to leave.
He got down from the altar and walked towards the far and that was when the lady’s voice came from his back, “Senior martial brother!”
He turned around, where Qiu Jin’er, who was on the altar, opened her mouth. It looked as if there were a billion words that she wanted to tell him, but in the end, all the thoughts she wanted to tell him turned into a simple sentence, “Senior martial brother, I will be waiting for you! No matter how long it takes!”
Right away, Zhong Yue’s soft spot was struck, a second later, his emotions turned into a torrent of ambitious will and love.
“Jin’er! Marry me!”
He shouted as he let his emotions take over him, voicing out his thoughts without any restrictions, right on this empty Kun Earth Qi sacred ground.
“Wait for me and I will be back to marry you! No matter what happens, even if the world falls apart, I will return and marry you! Wait for me!”
Qiu Jin’er’s mind went blank for a second, her face turned red with visible speed and in her heart, she felt very sweet yet a little sour at the same time. After that, without saying a word, she happily waved her hands at the man she loved with everything she had.
Zhong Yue finally left, leaving the lady alone on the altar with her rapidly beating heart, her strength drained away from her body and she leaned herself against the altar’s pillar, slowly sliding to the ground while laughing and tearing up.
“He promised me… Senior martial brother gave me his promise….” mumbled the girl.
Meanwhile, Zhong Yue left Hua Xu Star Ocean, still affected by his unsuppressed emotions, sinking himself in the confession he made. He had finally confessed his feelings to his beloved junior martial sister!
Suddenly, Xin Huo popped out and yawned, “You playboy, what are you going to do now? What promise will you give? To the lady over there.”
Immediately, Zhong Yue raised his head, his eyes met with a pair of beautiful eyes belonging to Jun Sixie, who was now on a ship. She sat near the window, her back leaning against the pillar and smiled at Zhong Yue.
“Junior martial brother.” said Jun Sixie softly and gently.
“This love debt that you bare, even if you try to clear it off, you will never finish clearing it in your entire life.”
Xin Huo said slowly, “When you give your promise to a lady, you will be turning your back on the other ladies, Zhong Yue, you mustn’t make any promises recklessly.”
Zhong Yue, however, stood up and shouted, “Senior martial sister, in the future, are you willing to marry me?”
His words left Jun Sixie with an empty mind and after some time, the lady shook and giggled, “Stupid.”
Without leaving a single word, she left while Zhong Yue who was not satisfied without receiving an answer shouted, “Will you say yes to me, senior martial sister?”
Jun Sixie got out from the cabin, walked towards the end of the ship in elegance before she shouted, “Have you forgotten why I left the Ancestral Star with you?”
The happy Zhong Yue uncontrollably smiled and he shouted back, “Wait for me!”
Jun Sixie returned back to the cabin happily and after that, she sailed deep into the Hua Xu Star Ocean, raising stars as the paddle swirled in the water.
As for Zhong Yue, after he calmed himself down, he walked towards the outside but before he could even leave the sacred mountains, another lady approached. This time, it was Huaxu Clan’s future Nuwa, Hua Qianwen, the lady destined to marry him even before the two were born.
Hua Qianwen, who was very carefree, was humming some kind of song as she hopped around, when she saw Zhong Yue, she ceased singing right away, tidying her attire and saying gently, “Darling.”
“What are you going to promise her this time?” asked an excited Xin Huo.
Hearing this, Zhong Yue’s head was on the verge of exploding, unlike the others, the marriage between him and Hua Qianwen was decided by their ancestors many years ago!
The leaders of the Huaxu Clan and Fuxi Celestial Race were destined to marry each other!
