Mo Yin replied, “If he returns to the Heaven Breaching Fortress before us, our armies outside of the fortress will face total annihilation! Leave the navy fleet behind, send us back to the Heaven Breaching Fortress first!”
Pan Ji felt the cold traveling down his spine and he quickly brought Mo Yin and Consort Tian Si back toward the Heaven Breaching Fortress. But even as a peak Imperial Emperor, it would take over a month’s time for him to return to the Heaven Breaching Fortress.
At the same time, Zhong Yue was also rushing back to the Heaven Breaching Fortress. His injuries were mostly healed now. When using the innate meat wings, he was much faster than Pan Ji’s speed!

He said, “King Yi is hindered on his way, but he will arrive in another few days…”
“I’ve already arrived.” A voice interrupted and they looked over. The dimensions rippled and Zhong Yue walked out of blank space, appearing inside of the meeting hall.
King Zi Guang quickly stood up and said, “King Yi, I’ve failed you. Just after your departure, I’ve brought our forces to a terrible defeat. I am embarrassed to see you!”
Zhong Yue’s face was cold like ice, he questioned frigidly, “Senior martial brother, even when your ability is unable to take down the Heaven Court’s forces, such a terrible defeat is still not possible. You were more than enough to hold the ground, so why did it turn out like this?”
King Zi Guang glimpsed over Mu Suxian and Mu Sutian in hesitation. Mu Sutian stepped forward and cleared his throat, he explained, “We underestimated them and fell into Mo Yin’s schemes. He lured us to the Heavenly River and Mister Zi Guang was forced into a battle with Mo Yin to save us. Then, Mo Yin used the chance and seized the Purple City.”
Zhong Yue frowned softly and looked at King Zi Guang, the latter cleared his throat and said, “They are His Majesty’s reinforcements. His Majesty has a million descendants, they were sent here to partake in the war. Every single one of them is incredibly strong. This is Mu Suxian and this is Mu Sutian. The princes are both incredible warriors, Imperial Emperors themselves.”
Mu Suxian and Mu Sutian bowed and greeted, “Mister Yi.”
Zhong Yue didn’t greet back and asked instead, “Senior martial brother, how many forces do you still have left in your Purple City? And how many are left in my Heaven Breaching Fortress?”
King Zi Guang mulled, “Twenty percent of what’s originally in the Purple City, roughly 14 million soldiers. The Heaven Breaching Fortress didn’t suffer many casualties, only ten million gods.”
Zhong Yue’s face darkened right away, he smirked coldly, “So the costs to save a few princes are a terrible defeat and over hundreds of millions of soldiers! Senior Martial Brother Zi Guang, why do you still have these two sinners here in the meeting hall? Do you have no respect for the military’s law and order? Men! Drag these two sinners out to the God Slaying Stage and behead them!”
King Zi Guang’s face changed drastically while Mu Suxian and Mu Sutian were enraged. The two princes shouted, “Yi Feng! We are princes, you dare to behead us?”
“You are only our father’s servant, how dare you try to kill us?”
Meanwhile, Fu Li, Fu Qizhi, and the rest cast out the Fusang Divine Tree and oppressed the two princes, sealing their powers away.
Zhong Yue waved his hand and ordered, “Bring them to the God Slaying Stage.”
Mu Suxian and Mu Sutian were shocked and incensed, while King Zi Guang quickly said, “King Yi, don’t! They are the cause, but they are, after all, His Majesty’s sons. If you kill them…”
“In the military, a prince and a servant are both treated by the merits they and are punished equally for the crimes they commit. Else, what’s the point of having military law? The princes have committed a crime that cost the lives of a hundred million soldiers, what use do they have here?”
Zhong Yue smile was one of mockery, “Senior Martial Brother Zi Guang, have you not thought of killing them?”
King Zi Guang hesitated, he looked at the two Imperial Emperors, Long Zhi and Jiao Teng, then he said, “But the princes are Imperial Emperor’s sons. They are cherished by His Majesty. Why don’t we keep them alive for now and let them make up for their crimes with merits?”
Long Zhi shook, “The nephews are too recalcitrant, they nearly ruined everything we have all worked for from the start and thinking that they could get away just because of their father. If they are left untouched, the soldiers will not be satisfied and it will be hard to command them anymore.”
Jiao Teng smirked coldly, “Don’t look at me, I won’t give a damn for their lives. Their foolish decision nearly cost even my life!”
Mu Suxian looked at Tai Feng, Nu Fang, and Yi Tianjun, and pleaded, “Uncle, aunty, save us!”
Tai Feng, Nu Fang, and Yi Tianjun were Mu Xiantian’s sworn siblings. They were originally in charge of the Heaven Riding Fortress’s and Shield Wall Fortress’s safety. When King Zi Guang was ordered to reinforce the forces for the battle of the Imperial Star, the two fortresses’ armies also followed him.
During the last battle in the Heavenly River, their soldiers also suffered great casualties and they too nearly died on the battlefield.
The three peaked Imperial Emperors hesitated. Then, Tai Feng softly shook, and the other two who were planning to help also stopped.
