Even if he fought with everything he had and after managing to force them off, his escape would be interrupted when his thousand winged ancient ship was stopped by the drum beats.

There was even a time where Zhong Yue had already shaken them off his tail. Just as he was about to run away, these wardens caught up using some kind of methods. And with that, another round of battle ensued.
